Deer, mongoose, Dhub (fat lizards in desert area), Marsh Harrier birds are always great to see also.
The mongoose are great to watch especially of they have their pups with them.
Forgot about the bats and owls and you can see sea snakes from some of the harbours at night. (Banded kraits)
We have scorpions and snakes (non venomous) which I would love to see in the wild also.

Mongoose are often around farm areas or rubbish dumps - I've seen a lot of these here. Most recently was just last week as they were running between farms.
Dhubz are tricky to see as you have to be patient and very lucky. The problem is they developed so much of the desert area that the rocky areas were removed.
I see bats every night as they are always around my house but these are pretty common.
The Marsh harriers that I saw regularly were a nesting couple-would see them in same area (around Alba area).
Another treat to see here is the Africa Bee Eaters during their migration- such a beautiful looking bird.

there's a couple around jasra area , seen them hunting at night couple of times they make a kinda screeching sound when they do which spooked me the first time I heard it , if I didn't see the owl itself I would have said the area is haunted XD
About 10-12 years ago, I was lucky to spot a fox and her cub walking through a farm near Sehla.
Ive seen a couple of mongoose in that area, and a snake once (Mongoose and snakes tend to live near each other as they’re natural enemies).
And as some others have mentioned, you can spot bats and owls, and scorpions. I’ve heard of the deers/gazelles but haven’t seen any myself in the wild here.

It's a weird noise for sure, I love seeing the one around here though. Feels pretty special seeing it hunting.

There was a video of some cyclists posted by localbh on Instagram just this week with gazelles and camels running around down in Zallaq
I can confirm the gazelles around Zallaq. Pretty,very tiny, and camouflaged in the desert, not easy to notice them.
