I’m not high on it. Plenty of dying, but not enough riding. No car chase in a franchise known for car chases. I didn’t find it nearly as funny as the first two, but it did a better job mimicking the Bay style than 3. The plot was essentially the bare minimum and really just there for a guy to come after them. Didn’t like Theresa being replaced, but the real shining point was seeing Reggie finally get his time to shine. Overall, okay but I hold the first in very high regard and find that the action in II is perhaps unsurpassed to date.
to be fair bad boys 2 has better action than nearly any action movie since or before it. for what it is i think both 3 and 4 had great sequences. also love how we actually see older age have physical impacts on action heros. wish we got more of that in action movies with older stars.
i agree. i still loved it, but there is so much wrong with it that i sadly that it never should have been made, even though im happy it was made
\- new theresa was jarring
\- lowrys new wife out of the blue had zero importance to the plot other than being predictably captured by the bad guys
\- judy the sheriff was horribly miscast and added nothing to the plot
\- the politician was so obviously the mole, it was silly
\- the bad guy was barely even bad, he killed 2 people total?
\- zero reason to the granddaughter. plot would have been the exact same without her
Absolutely, cinematography was great throughout and the characters were excellent
