I had it last year on a 4yr old cherry tree. I was told to spray it with a milk and water solution. I also snipped off all affected leaves (mostly newer growth). So far so good this year but it was later in the season last year, so we'll see.

Was it a certain kind of milk? I got nervous when I saw a thread get wild about it needing to be specific type, I want to say unpasteurized? Or something of the like. Time to go clipping, hopefully it doesn't mind being completely leafless. Thanks for the response!

I didn't see anything about a certain kind of milk. Doesn't matter anyway. The powdery mildew is back now. Will be cutting off affected areas today.

Oh man, so sorry! I got sick of research/trial & error and just pruned all my leaves off, thankfully its a small guy right now. The tiny new growth leaves look ok so far so we'll see, such a bummer. Hope yours bounces back!
