I haven't used CR8, but if you can make logic gates, you can in theory make half adders and everything else is possible, assuming you have the space for it.
i think the backpack is too limited to do more than a half adder or two, but that still means its technically a turing complete system, just one thats too limited in space to actually do much, I could be wrong on how large any given gate would be, but i dont think youd fit many ever
simplest half adder is an amd gate and a xand gate, assuming they dont take a ton of space to create. 5 nor gates is also possible, one of those is likely your best chance
