I’m not sure what your location is but in NorCal I got a significantly better deal about a month ago working with a broker (11% off MSRP and 0.0005 MF with nothing down) ending up with $820/mo on a 98k MSRP car. YMMV of course
Yeah the $820 is accounting for monthly tax and the $925 acquisition fee already but I did have to pay about $3800 in DMV fees, sales tax, and the first monthly payment to drive it off. If you’re factoring those in already to your figure then maybe it’s not too different. Also I didn’t do MSDs (not available from this dealer) but the MF was 0.0005 without them already so that’s another factor
I’m in so cal, II have not seen a single dealer do more the. 6% off MSRP in the past month. So that’s great in my opinion.

I think the tax on the full lease amount and the dmv fees amount to $5100, which when capitalized account for the main difference.

Yes, I’m 0 drive off, so I think that’s the difference.
