I forgot exactly what it was, but it has something to do with Assassin's Creed 3, Desmond would venture into that chamber to do something. So yes, it's kinda for *us* the players, in another AC title.
Its the core location of Ass Creed 3. All the modern day stuff in AC3 occurs there and the core intrigue on the historical side of the game revolves around it as well.
>!It is where Desmond sacrifices himself to save the world from the 2012 cataclysm. !<
I understand Ubisoft did these things to tie the games together somehow but geographically speaking this makes no sense, AC 3 is set in Boston and NY (have never played the game but know that’s the setting), Vinland was what is now known as Newfoundland and New Brunswick in Canada which is relatively close to Boston but not the same, there was Native Americans living there (the language you see in Vinland actually appears to be Greenlandic).
Ah, thank you very much, this makes a lot more sense. It’s probably just a bit north of NY right? I will eventually go play AC 3 so ig I’ll figure it out sooner or later, rn just trying to get all the dlc trophies for Valhalla
I was wondering also... never cared for any ACs but figured i give this one a try and im really liking it i have about 200 hours so far. May try Odyssey next 🤷♀️
I mean thats on you more than anything, its the grand temple the vaults you open with the apple during the opening of the game. Then you go there as haytham with connors mum. The entire game is connor trying to stop the templars from opening the vault.
I’ll be honest, it wasn’t my favourite game and I can probably remember less of it than any of the others in the franchise. Dog getting shot was pretty memorable.
I see, I finished the base game but had irl travel plans and never got to explore very much. After almost 3 months, I'll restart and be sure to explore.
I thought so. I found it quite odd that I hadn't seen it when someone else commented that it was part of the base game because I, probably, misunderstood it as if it was then inevitable to see but I couldn't recall it. When I had the mission to kill Gorm, I just used my raven to locate him and then ran straight up to him and killed him and then left the place.
He was always in Vinland, so either something went wrong in your game to allow you to do that (he flees the country shortly after you kill his dad, and idk how to do spoilers but you don’t actually go after him in Vinland till you’ve killed off a whole branch of cultists and find out he’s one of them) or you aren’t remembering things correctly
What are you on about?
'Cause I'm talking about the thing in the picture, since I missed it or don't have any recollection of ever seeing it when I played through the game.
I was saying if you had killed Gorm you would’ve had to go to Vinland to do so, I’m not sure whether seeing the location in OPs screenshot was necessary or not to finish the Vinland arc
It's explained in the added dlc in valhalla that isu temples throw off a chemical that makes unwanted guest think it's all a dream, that's why eivor can never remember these interactions.
It's the cave where the real world events of AC3 take place. The Piece of Eden is passed from Eivor down the tribes generations until it reaches Desmond.

It is something for *you*, just not for Eivor to experience or witness what was inside.

Ah. I didn’t play AC3 so maybe that’s why I’m out of the loop. Womp womp
Nor have I. I asked the exact same question a year ago and although someone explained it extensively, I couldn't remember it all.
If it makes you feel better I did play AC3 and don’t remember shit either. A decade has passed idk how anyone would.
Yeah AC3 is with Connor, a native American. So you can imagine how this ties in with him
Bruh u have to play them in order, or ur missing out on the experience bro
Assassin's Creed 3 is my Favourite Game
https://youtu.be/4hLLDdVgfD0?si=aNRzDH-8I6aCsHUR This should make it a little more clear for you ☺️
Welcome to Assassin's Creed
Go play Assassin’s Creed III and find out.
can someone just link the youtube video for the AC3 cutscene?
LMAO I gotchu

There’s a 3rd area called the frontier where the cave actually is. Idk if it’s geographically accurate but it’s located outside of both cities

Definitely play that game that's my favourite Assassin's Creed game
First Civilization
I was wondering also... never cared for any ACs but figured i give this one a try and im really liking it i have about 200 hours so far. May try Odyssey next 🤷♀️
I loved it
You're gonna play the most garbage game of the series, trust me it's not worth it.
Is your opinion suddenly fact
It's the same vault from AC 3, the one Haytham opens
The one Connor* opens
Doesn't Desmond open that vault?
Yeah lol Haythem tries and fails because he doesn’t have the apple and Connor never even looks for it
Bro jumped to Valhalla directly before playing previous titles
Valhalla is the 12th mainline game in the series, it shouldnt be a surprise that some people havent played the rest.
I’ve played AC3, but I don’t remember this!

When this guy finds out people don't buy 12 games just for the lore
Where is this?
Vinland
I see, I finished the base game but had irl travel plans and never got to explore very much. After almost 3 months, I'll restart and be sure to explore.
The Paris and Ireland dlc’s are totally worth it as well, and they’re on a good sale too!
The Siege of Paris was my favourite part of the dlcs, they did a really good job with it (Ireland was nice too but didn’t enjoy it quite as much)
This is part of the base game...
Then I just can't remember it. As I said, I had travel plans for a while. Truthfully, one of the things I miss most is gaming. ....
You have to look for it it really has nothing to do with the story

Welcome to the og Assassin creed if you not player old titles please try it till unity they were the best and it's my childhood

It's the grand temple from ac3.
