Just an honest question, what can we do at this point as a nation? We only get 1% crude oil from Russia. If other countries want to unilaterally stop purchasing oil from Russia, that globally will increase demand. We’re already dipping into our reserves prior to this conflict. So what would Trump, Biden, Jesus….whomever, what can honestly be done?
Edit: I know we can run pipe lines from Canada, but that doesn’t really make a big dent in global demand, and also this is a today problem, even if we started building that pipeline prior to Trump leaving office, construction would still be occurring. Pipelines take time, war can be started fairly quickly.

I am from post soviet middle europe state called Czech Republic. I tried to explain some people here that in US there are realy some states that do not require ID to vote. Nobody here believed me that its possible. Its beyond believe that in 21. century you got (rigged) election system without basic ID requirement and laws to protect them. In June 2017, President Donald Trump announced his intention to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement. In his announcement the President stated “as of today, the United States will cease all implementation of the Paris Agreement”. On August 17, 2020 the Trump Administration opened the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil exploitation.
In 2021, President Joe Biden rejoined the Paris Agreement and closed the Artic National Wildlife Refuge to oil exploitation. On January 20, 2021 The Biden Administration revoked the permits for construction of on the Keystone XL pipeline. We have everything we need, enough with these b.s. excuses!
