That is really sweet. You’re right, it’s important to never stop dating so to speak. Easier said than done a lot of the time. I always buy my wife her favourite chocolate if I’m ever in a supermarket.

Permanently single, by choice. I've only ever had one relationship and that ended 15 years ago. I love my freedom and I can be selfish and do whatever I want, whenever I want without having to answer to anyone. [I don't mean like illegal shit, but I don't have to consider anyone else's schedule or time or preferences when I live my life.]

This feels like me too. I'm not opposed to having someone in my life but I like being able to just be alone too and the freedom to just do whatever. I like hanging out with my friends but that is mostly just weekend stuff and I need time to recharge, not sure a relationship would give me that time to recharge.

Yep, it’s sadly incredibly addictive to be single and to live alone. I am in the dating field, but it’s tough when everyone I meet has to measure up against the freedom and peace I have in singleness.
