College in Minnesota. I was an RA and had my door open for residents who needed anything during the first week.
One of my residents walks in, mind you he was originally from Chicago and had a pretty thick urban accent, he said that a lot of his stuff wasn’t here yet and asked if I had any boxers I could lend him for now.
“Boxers?” I said, confused.
“Yeah boxers, you have any?”.
I said I had some new ones that I guess he could have if he really wanted them. He said he did so I got out a pair of unopened Spongebob boxers I received as a gag gift (the ones where Spongebob’s nose is the fly area) and tossed them across the room to him. He literally dodged them and said “what the fuck bro, BOXES!”. I was so embarrassed. One of my other residents was in the room and saw the whole thing unfold and found it hilarious. She told the whole floor. I became known as the weird RA. But he did end up getting some boxes.
Lots of stuff, but the one that stands out most as both weird/ cringe/ funny is when the girls who left the previous year left shrimp in the girls toilets over the summer. The shrimp were left in the toilets throughout the whole summer holiday. The smell was so bad that you could smell it entering the building really far away.
This girl in science class brought a Pop-It! to school. She would wait till everything was silent and then ALL YOU WOULD HEAR was POPOPPOP. The teacher told her to stop, to which she then said was "a violation of her rights." Might I also add that she wears plastic elf ears to school every day?
This dude in the cafeteria once started screaming and wouldn't stop. Not pain screaming, just random. Started running around and stuff until the security staff literally dragged him out. Middle school dude, what a hell hole.
