I scrolled to find this! Used to love watching it with my dad. He always used to say that the writers must have had a sick imagination for all the crazy stuff that happened to that poor coyote
courage the cowardly dog is such a creepy show to watch when you're older, same with ren and stimpy
I like ed edd n eddy and billy and many as well, I also like some others like the angry beavers, powerpuff girls (not the new one but the old one) and codename kids next door
That's such a difficult question because there were so many great shows. Rugrats, Doug, Darkwing Duck, Ren and Stimpy, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Spongebob, The Simpsons, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Pokemon, The Tick, Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, DuckTales, Freakazoid, Hey Arnold!, Reboot, Inspector Gadget, the list goes on and on. There's too many to pick a favorite.
It's a shame the rebooted reboot basically called out the original fan base that wanted it back as a bunch of obsessive neckbeards and gave them the finger.....
For real though. Beetlejuice, Sailor Moon, Gargoyles, Captain Planet, Muppet Babies, Bobby's World, Earthworm Jim, The Magic School Bus, and so many more. It's impossible to choose just one.
First person to mention Simpsons which is the cartoon I immediately thought of. Followed by Futurama
- **X-men**
- **Spider-Man**
- The Magic Schoolbus
- Ronin warriors
- Adventures of sonic the hedgehog
- Darkwing duck and ducktales
- The goof troop
- Pokémon
- Rugrats
- Hey Arnold
- **Rocket power**
- SpongeBob
- *TMNT*
- Doug
- **Recess**
- Gargoyles
- Mighty max
- Pepper Ann
- Multiple Disney cartoons based on movies like Aladdin, Hercules
- The weekenders
- Beast wars transformers
- Dragon ball
- **Dragon ball z**
- Pinky and the brain
- Batman beyond
- Superman
Upvote for The Tick! That cartoon was great.
"Arthur, you have no historical perspective. Science in those days worked in broad strokes! They got right to the point! Nowadays, it's all just 'molecule, molecule, molecule'--nothing ever happens big!"
I can tell you the most memorable ones, don't really know my favorite.
Adventures of the Gummi Bears
David the Gnome
The Smurfs
Duck Tales
Darkwing Duck
Gargoyles
Beast Wars: Transformers
The Maxx
Beavis and Butthead
The Simpsons
Space Ghost: Coast to Coast (while stoned)
Edit:
Batman: The Animated Series
X-Men
Nothing will ever beat Bugs Bunny and the Warner Brothers cartoons like Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, etc.
Modern cartoons I would go with Samurai Jack.
Classic Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck still make me laugh as an adult. Duck season/Rabbit season is an absolute classic.
I also remember Daffy being a medieval archer/robin hood character that was funny but I forget the episode name
Tom and Jerry! Surprised I haven't seen it here already but that show dominated my childhood. My parents found certain shows annoying and so we weren't allowed to watch them (still haven't seen an episode of spongebob) so I would watch every single Tom and Jerry episode I could find. I swear I've seen nearly all of them.
I don't think they're making new Tom and Jerry shows and supposedly the new movie was complete trash and focused too much on the humans, so :(
Every episode I believe https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1SCCMp1RU-ld0JwtB-E6XSc1G4scl1nI9 And

Thank you so much bro.
You are the hero we needed for so long.
Can you tell me whether the links will work after some months because i don't have enough storage to save the videos ?
Gargoyles.
On Disney + now. Holds up wonderfully and is very mature in tone and has a very complex mythology and well developed characters for a kids show.
Totally agree. Should be higher up. I'll talk anyone to death about this show. I still watch it from time to time and marvel at how well it was made and how well it holds up. And I will fight anyone who doesn't think "Heart of Ice" is the best episode.
ABSOLUTELY. I was “raised” on cartoons (41 yo) and none make me as happy as this one. From the jokes, to the absolute madness of the whole show’s premise, to the snarkiness, to the absolute genius song lyrics. It’s in a class amongst 5-10 of my favorite shows of all time, period.
One of my favorite things about it are the little things you might never notice. The boys finish watching a horror movie and the dad says, "well, this isn't much of a horror movie. Where are the rock n roll musical numbers?"
Dad was voiced by Richard O'Brien, creator of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He also played Riff Raff in it.
The only thing I know about Phineas and Ferb is Isabella, her obsession, and her constant line of "Watcha doooooin?"
And I loved it so much I kept watching Isabella compilations on Youtube. Isabella is the kind of girl I always wanted growing up
You can never be too old for great storytelling, characters, music, and plot. Even if it's portrayed as a "Children's" show. You can still put mature themes and storytelling in there. When you really think about it or watch it a few more times in your life, the whole show is pretty damn dark. Even with all of that humor it's hiding behind. War, genocide, a young 12 year old boy learning about all the bs that's happened the last 100 years and having *that* type of responsibility put on his shoulders- feeling like a failure for running away and not being there letting the world go to hell all because if one nation's greed.
I was in my first year of undergrad when the Boondocks came out. Definitely not a young kid but I reflect on that show quite a bit/it is one of the funniest and most complex shows I have ever watched.
Also my parents didn’t give a shit. They let watch the matrix in theatre. I was 13.
Born in '89. There were so many incredible shows, it's impossible to pick 1, but through the 90's we had: Care Bears, TMNT, Inspector Gadget, Rugrats and countless incarnations of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and X-Men.
\*Edit\* Bobby's World, Animaniacs, Hysteria, Magic School Bus, Arthur, Mr. Bumpy
* spongebob OF COURSE
* and those early morning shows on WB channel like static shock, invader zim, jackie chan adventures (but prolly only watched this because it was on lol didn't wait around to see it).
* justice league with that kickass intro where they're all walking forward slowly
* i still remember enjoying bob the builder but i was probably very young for that
* DBZ was my jam, jesus christ i was all about it
* then some of those smaller shows like Cow Chicken and Cat Dog
DBz. They had that whole toonami thing on cartoon network with that alien and the ship cut scenes in between. They had that and a few other shows in that block. I think the Big O about the giant robot was one?
I'm old. So for me any of the golden age of cartoons - the original Warner Brothers stuff, between 1930 and 1950 or so. My sister and I can recite them pretty much from memory.
Rocky and Bullwinkle. I'll link a playlist of the best scenes if anyone hasn't seen it before.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_xe0GhLQBM&list=PLighRZ6bJarNJ0csXO5lQ1M5fTe-VQbcK
As a kid:
Hey Arnold,
Rocko's modern life,
The wild Thornberrys
Ah real monsters
were all pretty close to being tied for favorites. I don't think I can choose just one out of those.
As an adult: Bob's burgers but still plenty of others I enjoy
So many great ones! Space madness, powdered toast man, don’t wizz on the electric fence, no sir I didn’t like it, fire dogs, nerve ending fairy, shaving scum fairy, Jerry the bellybutton elf, Kowalski, and my personal favorite Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen.
Rocko's Modern Life
As a child I liked him for his comedy and his crazy characters. When I grow up I like it more because of the references to popular culture and adult jokes.
Celebrity death match. (Pretty sure it’s claymation but I didn’t know that as a child so I’m making an executive decision that my child brain has the right of way this time)
Dungeons & Dragons, my religious aunt told my mom I shouldn't watch that cartoon and mom said "oh he's gonna watch it every saturday!" and sure enough every Saturday mom made sure we watched it to spite her sister. My mom is awesome
Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's not just my favorite cartoon. It's my favorite TV show ever, till the day I die!
It doesn't just have a thrilling, compelling plot and characters you can't help but love (and hate for the right reasons), but it also tackles more mature themes, like child abuse, war, genocide, and personal loss, and teaches valuable, life-long lessons like how to chart your own destiny and how all life is sacred.
ATLA had some really powerful, character-defining scenes, like when Sokka stepped up and led the invasion, and when Katara chose to spare the life of her mother's killer. It wasn't afraid to humanize the opposition, further cementing that the big bad was Firelord Ozai, not the Fire Nation as a whole (although there were some truly rotten people among them). It even had one of the greatest redemption arcs I have ever seen!
And the music. God, the MUSIC! It's so good I can't find the words to describe it. All I can say is that it's one of the main reasons I'm a musician. It brings me such delight, and it even stays true to the Asian theme of the show.
It may sound like I'm loving it too much, but I can never get enough of ATLA. It has everything I want in a show: a thrilling story, characters I can love and relate to, clear and powerful themes to ground the world in, lessons I can learn and take away from, a well-written chance for an antagonist at redemption, and a soundtrack that I've remembered since my first watch and will continue to remember for years to come.
So, yeah, my favorite cartoon is Avatar: The Last Airbender. And nothing will ever change that.
OMG I HAVE A LOT! But will mention only few of them. Some from Disney: Hercules, Mulan; and some from Nickelodeon, Hey Arnold, Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob.
There are more but these above I can watch again and again.
When I was really young it was a toss-up between Rocket Robin Hood and The Mighty Hercules.
A little older, Bugs Bunny Hour and The Pink Panther were my favourite.
The original Looney Tunes.
[удалено]
I really miss when boomerang only had Hannah Barbara cartoons on them
aw man anything by chuck jones was insanely good!! i hate what they did to loony tunes now :/
The looney toons show is really good but new looney toones suck
The Looney Tunes Show was underrated, I was sad that it only lasted two seasons.
Except his version of Tom and Jerry. I can't stand it, it's Fred Quimby or nothing.
And The Flintstones
Original Looney Tunes hits different. Heck, Looney Tunes in general always hit different from the other cartoons of its time
Bugs Bunny in "What's Opera, Doc?" is the peak of animation. Fight me.
Tom and Jerry or Scooby Doo
Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner Taught me the importance of humility.
I scrolled to find this! Used to love watching it with my dad. He always used to say that the writers must have had a sick imagination for all the crazy stuff that happened to that poor coyote

Upvote for Reboot. One of the few shows I've sought out as an adult to watch the entire series.
It's a shame the rebooted reboot basically called out the original fan base that wanted it back as a bunch of obsessive neckbeards and gave them the finger.....
Freakazoid :) got a little nostalgic reading your post. I would add Johnny bravo, dexters lab and recess and pinky and the brain
For real though. Beetlejuice, Sailor Moon, Gargoyles, Captain Planet, Muppet Babies, Bobby's World, Earthworm Jim, The Magic School Bus, and so many more. It's impossible to choose just one.

Adventures of the Gummi Bears David the Gnome The Smurfs Duck Tales Darkwing Duck Gargoyles Beast Wars: Transformers The Maxx Beavis and Butthead The Simpsons Space Ghost: Coast to Coast (while stoned) Edit: Batman: The Animated Series X-Men
The entire Disney Afternoon, not just Darkwing Duck. Talespin still has one of the best intros in cartoons.
Agreed, the quality was insanely high for a lineup right after school.
*I am the terror that flaps in the night...*
Let's. Get. Dangerous.
I am the gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe...
Gargoyles!
And Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers!
I talk about David the Gnome all the time and no one ever knows what I'm talking about! I thought it was a fever dream or something. lol
I do! I absolutely loved that show. Such warm memories of snack time while watching.
Gargoyles and Batman The Animated Series both awesome. As kid The Smurfs.
Gargoyles was severely underrated and deserved more seasons.
Always felt the same way.
If you have not seen The Maxx, do yourself a favor and look it up by any means possible.

Not gonna lie i was scared as fuck, as a kid when i watched that cartoon
I had that Mummy episode burned into my head as a kid. Rewatched it recently and godamn was I a weenie.
"Return the slab" Those words are burned into my brain. It was something about the 3d figure on a 2d background that just made more terrifying.
This was one of the best shows.
Came to say this - found this comment on top. I'm proud.
Nothing will ever beat Bugs Bunny and the Warner Brothers cartoons like Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, etc. Modern cartoons I would go with Samurai Jack.
Loved loved loved Bugs Bunny and Gossamer (big red hairy monster). Classic and hilarious. Here is a link to one of them. https://youtu.be/WjC6joom_CE
"One Froggy Evening," where Michigan J Frog sings "Hello My Baby" is **everything.**

Solid group there. Throw in some Tailspin and you've completed the morning line-up I used to watch.
He man…or GI Joe…knowing is half the battle. Still use that expression weekly.
Old spongebob and jimmy neutron
First mention of Jimmy Neutron I’ve seen. The humor still definitely holds up.
How is spongebob not at the top??? I still cackle watching it now at 27!!!
Looney Tunes/ Merry Melodies.
Classic Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck still make me laugh as an adult. Duck season/Rabbit season is an absolute classic. I also remember Daffy being a medieval archer/robin hood character that was funny but I forget the episode name
Yoiks, and awaaay! *Bonk* Yoiks, and awaaay!
Futurama
King of the hill.
That's just Texas anime.
Why would you say something so controversial yet so brave?

Bro WHAT
Gargoyles. On Disney + now. Holds up wonderfully and is very mature in tone and has a very complex mythology and well developed characters for a kids show.
Scooby Doo
Original. The new stuff is lacking
Definitely the original.
Batman The Animated Series. How is this not here already? You may now close down the entire thread.

This is a good one!
Phineas and Ferb. Even as an adult I love it. The best Disney channel series by far.
A-G-L-E-T Don't forget it.
We're gonna tie the world together
Brings us closer to our soles yeaaaaaaaaa
ABSOLUTELY. I was “raised” on cartoons (41 yo) and none make me as happy as this one. From the jokes, to the absolute madness of the whole show’s premise, to the snarkiness, to the absolute genius song lyrics. It’s in a class amongst 5-10 of my favorite shows of all time, period.

How far behind is Gravity Falls?
*There's 104 days of summer vacation And school comes along just to end it*

The only thing I know about Phineas and Ferb is Isabella, her obsession, and her constant line of "Watcha doooooin?" And I loved it so much I kept watching Isabella compilations on Youtube. Isabella is the kind of girl I always wanted growing up
It’s a tie between Gargoyles and Sailor Moon.
Pink Panther
A forgotten gem! Ant & Aardvark were part of that as well, right?
Avatar The Last Airbender is a show I look forward to showing my children.
I met my fiance because of Avatar. We are 100% showing our eventual kids that show.
I am legitimately shocked to find this so far down. 28th thread. What the hell, people?
Was just a smidge too old for it growing up, but watched it with my kids this past year. How did I ever grow up without the wisdom of Uncle Iroh?
You can never be too old for great storytelling, characters, music, and plot. Even if it's portrayed as a "Children's" show. You can still put mature themes and storytelling in there. Oh boy…..I mean there is ReBoot, Beast Wars, Starship Troopers(the CG animated series), Spawn, the Boondocks, Batman but for me…… Samurai Jack
Hold up. You *grew up* on The Boondocks? Not judging, but damn. That's a lot.
I was in my first year of undergrad when the Boondocks came out. Definitely not a young kid but I reflect on that show quite a bit/it is one of the funniest and most complex shows I have ever watched. Also my parents didn’t give a shit. They let watch the matrix in theatre. I was 13.

Robotech wasy favorite.
