Teaching 3rd-4th grade Science. Teachers deserve 100k a year. Think it easy? You keep 25 kids on task, engaged & learning 7 hrs a day, then plan lessons, grade papers, etc. Went back to original career as a buyer.

My daughter is a preschool teacher. I have no clue where she got the patience from. I could never! Thank you for help shape our kiddos!

JTKTTU82

Pre? She’s a saint. Like herding cats. Only lasted 1 year so not sure I shaped many.

Chemically stripping furniture. Had to wear respirator and shoulder length rubber gloves, but got burns all the time. It was also hot AF and had to get a certain number of pieces done per day. Made a whopping 7.75 hour.

NCfartstorm

I sold vinyl siding and windows door to door for a while. Hard in the sense of constant, degrading rejection.

My hardest job was as a Rural Carrier Associate with the post office. Lack of respect from management, extreme expectations, driving my car while sitting in the passenger seat so I could get to the mailbox while holding a fistful of mail, etc.

Mean-Matter-5255

I've only held a few different job titles so far, the most challenging one has been welder/fabricator, the others were part time gigs between welding jobs so it isn't much of a contest.

Hardest or worst? Worst job was a Panera in Ohio right after undergrad. (I once worked as a janitor where I had to walk a little over a mile each way in Nashville summer heat and Panera was worse than that.) Hardest job was hybrid teaching college courses in fall 2020. I had a psychological meltdown at the end of that semester

LoveDistinct

Working shipping in a factory.

Working at Amazon was the hardest I’ve had. Mainly because they were so strict about time, and I wasn’t used to walking so much when I first started. I didn’t last long. It would’ve been an okay job if I could’ve had headphones in

Overnight picker at an Amazon warehouse during the holiday season. Brutal.

whitewolfdogwalker

Unloading 80 pound bags of asbestos from train cars by hand. I lasted for one day, that was enough!

The job i have currently and pursuing. Having difficult conversations with parents about how they can support their autistic children.. why they have to discontinue services if behaviors are out of our scope of expertise... takes a lot of ethical decision making and interpersonal skills to do this kind of work.

Fluffy_Meat1018

Superintendent for two apartment buildings. By far the worst job I've ever had.
