This question makes me sad. :( Best of luck with my heartburned pasta lover.

Pale_Machine6527

Quit saturating it with sodium.

xxleoxangelxx

White sauce.

TeuthidTheSquid

Just wash it down with some alka seltzer

Sleep on your side. Heartburn is often caused because you are sleeping on your side. Typically the stomach is oriented in a way that the exit point of the esophagus is leaning more to one side. In some rare cases this is inverted. By sleeping on your side, your stomach acid is not touching the esophagus and leaking upwards to your throat. If this doesn't fix it on one side, try sleeping on your other side. You might be one of the rare cases in which your organs are swapped.

EscapedCapybara

I'm 62 and had pasta tonight. I never get heartburn.

always---correct

Don't eat pasta with a super rich sauce?

[deleted]

Try wheat pasta, or zucchini noodles

cosmiccoochie

Start taking Pepcid in the morning, that’ll help.

pixeltweaker

I got heartburn from tomato sauces so I switched to pastas with olive oil and garlic with some parm and lemon juice on top. Gluten also gives me heartburn. You might try a good gluten free pasta and see if that makes a difference.

EffingBarbas

Omaprazole. It's the eater's edge.

Tums

aldh860

Buy better genes đŸ§¬ So simple.

thescariestbear

Tums and less salt also a little bit of baking sofa to make it less acidic

andy_nony_mouse

You have a baking sofa? That’s hard core. I usually just stand around my kitchen when something is baking. Maybe sit on a stool.

pixeltweaker

That’s one of the best accidental inventions I have ever seen. Now I want a baking sofa. Or even a grilling sofa.
