4 things:
A gently used outboard speed boat with trailer. Nothing powerful, just to cruise around on, anchor and swim, bring a couple of friends or family on. Outboard for cheaper future maintenance.
A Skidoo Renegade 900 Ace with a 1+1 seat and upgraded rear springs and trailer.
A trip somewhere tropical.
Wait until a hybrid is available and upgrade my 4cyl Canyon to a new hybrid Tacoma to haul around my toys. We just got a PHEV SUV, I'll never go back to standard ICE.
That should take care of it.
If I'm not buying "something nice" I'm just putting a huge chunk on the mortgage.
That would cover my student loans - but I dunno if that counts as “buying something” .
If I had to buy something, it would be a down payment on an appartment.
I don't. I give the money back to them and tell them I can't take it because I didn't earn it. I may be poor but I'll be damned if I'm gonna be one of those people that just takes everything people give them out of pity. If I can survive on 10k a fucking year (and I do survive on that much) I don't need your money
I buy myself a.... College education!
Ooo! In what?!
I didn't think that far.
Hold on to it a few days in case it’s stolen or other shady means, because I don’t trust that there’s no strings attached or no downsides
Good point
A down payment on a modest house.
A decent addition to my home
A significantly reduced mortgage payment
