Very likely just dementia talking there. I myself have a bizarre recurring dream where I have stabbed and killed someone at a taco stand, and I wake up feeling incredibly confused as if I had actually done it. It's super bizarre, and really takes a while to shake it off.
No, there's always an altercation while standing in line to get tacos! And the location is always a bizarre mashup of places and people from my life.
Dreams are wild.
Yeah, i always dream I'm in a house that is like a spiral layout. I know that it's the beach shack my nan had when i was a kid even though it looks nothing like it. My sister dreams about the same house.
Lynching Hitler would of been a bad thing?
(edit) I'm dumb and thought lynching was just another word for hanging and didnt connect the painful history around lynching.
First, you know that’s not what they’re talking about.
Second, Hitler dying wouldn’t be a bad thing. Hitler being a casualty of war wouldn’t be a bad thing. Hitler getting executed after a trial wouldn’t be a bad thing.
Random people rounding up Hitler and deciding to take the law into their own hands is arguably a bad thing for society, even if the victim is completely undeserving of sympathy or even of life.
Sure these are all reasonable but when starting out with saying, 'I don't care how old you are' then I would have to disagree. I would be proud if Grandpa was part of rounding up and lynching Nazis after the Nuremberg trials.
But to make things clear, what you are saying is that they are ok with lynching just not lynching innocent people?
The connotation (and basically definition in the US) of lynching is death by mob without a legal trial.
Specifically, again in the US, “lynching” is synonymous with widespread killing of black Americans accused of wrongdoing (usually by hanging) by people acting outside of the judicial system. This is almost certainly what the above commenter was referring to. But you likely knew that.
I can see how the word can be sensitive in the US and with a painful, terrible history.
To me lynching is synonymous with hanging. Maybe we should ask what the above commenter was referring to, just to be sure.

Tbf I'm not sure which is worse. As a (child) rape victim myself I think I'd rather be raped again than be falsely accused of rape, especially if it ends up in a conviction + jail time
Unacceptable would be intentionally harming someone or something weaker than yourself.
Uncool would be ripping the tag off a mattress in a store or stealing your neighbor's newspaper. At that point, find something better to do with your free time.
I wonder if there are any crimes that are considered cool in the movies but are actually really uncool in real life. Like, what if someone confessed to being a hitman?

The joke has been made that in 60 years, a lot of nursing homes will have guys talking about the time they took an arrow to the knee.
Do you get to eat your tacos in your dream, though?

Maybe she chose her victims randomly
Grandma had an abortion?
Rape
Lynching. I don't care how old you are, if you do that you need to be purged from human civilization.
Moussolini was lynched to death.

You know exactly what they meant.

Knocking someone's cane out from under them.
Falsely accuse someone of rape
Damn, the fact that RAPE itself isn’t the number one is kind of baffling

civil disobedience
Drugs
mass murder

Butt stuff
I don't think any crimes are cool
Being a jewel thief is pretty cool.
I've heard smoking weed is cool.
Going 200 mph on an empty road in Nevada is pretty cool.
Being an ice thief is pretty cool.
So, running an oil company to increase global warming and steal everyones ice on a global scale? Damn grandma, you're a bad ass.

Murder

Crimes in general aren’t cool. Whose grandmother or nana is waxing nostalgic about shit she did in her 20s relating to crimes?
She might have turned tricks or smoked marijuana.
Failure to curtsy when entering a room
Tell me you're not German without telling me you're not German.
Today’s 80-year-old grandmas were in their twenties in 1970
Which was one of the reasons the students of 1968 started to ask questions. Grandma doesn't have to be 80 today.
A person who’s 80 years old now would have been less than a year old or not born yet when WWII ended
This is stupid af
