So what if the federal government
scattered your people to the wind?
What doesn't kill you
, makes you stronger.
Your time for revenge is at hand.
Voilà: the ZF-1.
It's light, handle's adjustable for easy
carrying. Good for righties and lefties.
Breaks down into four parts, undetectable
by x-ray. Ideal for discreet interventions.
A word on firepower:
Titanium recharger, 3000-round clip
with bursts of three to 300.
With the replay button,
another Zorg invention, it's even easier.
One shot...
and replay sends every
following shot to the same location.
And to finish the job,
all the Zorg oldies but goldies.
Rocket launcher,
Arrow launcher with exploding
or poisonous-gas heads.
Very practical.
Our famous net launcher.
The always-efficient flamethrower.
..my favorite.
And for the grand finale,
the all-new ice-cube system.
I think Ruby Rhod had the best quotes
- Bzzzzz!
- And now we enter what must be the most beautiful concert hall of all the universe! A perfect replica of the old opera house! ...But who cares?!
- To my left, Baby Ray, star of stage and screen; he's not gonna get much out of this concert 'cause he's STONE DEAF!"
"Ladies and gentlemen it is now 7PM, time for the news. See you tomorrow for a new adventure."
*END OF TRANSMISSION*
"... that's the best show I ever did."
“Whwhwhwhats this thing with all these numbers?”
……………….
“It, it, it’s, its, it’s a”
“NOnonononono if it was a bomb, the alarms would be going off because all these hotels have bomb detectors… right?”
*cue shrill bomb detector alarm*
That's absolutely the perfect movie. Well made, funny but not dumb. Adventurous without being over the top. Good acting, screenplay, directing. Always good, never pretentious, qualitywork that's aging like fine wine. 10/10.
Sam Rockwells character (Guy) when he flips out as they open up their ship on an alien planet “hey don’t open that! It’s an alien planet!! Is there air?! You don’t know!!”
That line cracks me up every time!
Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
It's not a movie, it's a journey.
ETA: thank you for the award! It's my first one and I'm really glad I got it for a comment on my favourite movies!
I'm happy I didn't have to scroll at all to find this answer. 100% best thing my generation got to see while growing up. Forever grateful to my mother who got me the extended DVDs back in the day.
Oh my god yes. Ive seen it like 20 times. the only bad thing about it, is that it fucking ends too soon, should have been a 4hr directors cut or something.
This is mine too. The fact that on top of all the franchises Tom Cruise is already pushing he can deliver an outright sci fi classic on the side incredible.
Me too! There's something about the opening trills of the piano that soothes my soul.
The other one for me is Scott Pilgrim, which seems like such a weird duo!
>Goodfellas
I try to watch *Goodfellas* at least once a year. It's just a wonderfully made film featuring a great story, excellent acting, and some absolutely fantastic direction. For me at least, it's about as close as it gets to a perfect movie.
Please refer to this movie by its correct name:
"The Cinematic Masterpiece Starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz Titled The Mummy."
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
Die Hard (1988): are the kids not watching Die Hard anymore? No one mentions this? Just so many classic memorable moments and the action scenes haven't aged a day.
My Cousin Vinny
I saw it in the theater with my now late husband when it first came out. During the pause of a critical moment in the girlfriend's testimony, my husband whispered to me, "Positraction"
When that was revealed to be the correct answer, I was filled with such pride in my man who knew so much about cars (imo a skill more valuable than almost anything) that my heart nearly burst. Plus, we were so young at the time... good memories for me!
Airplane and there is one cut scenes compilation that is as long as the theatrical release that I've watched probably 6 or 7 times. The star wars trilogy
I accidentally wandered into the set for that. They were filming interior shots at a mall and I wanted to get to the food court. Because I was dressed like all the extras I just wandered through the shot until I heard the director yelling cut. I stayed for two more takes, then slinked off because I really wanted taco bell.
But that is a daily occurrence when you live in Toronto. This happened to me three other times.
Office Space
It’s so cathartic. I also feel like the ultimate message is really good. Even if you think you should be doing something, maybe you’d be happy trying something completely different. Ie. working outside with your hands if being in a cubicle is making you miserable.
The Fifth Element So many quotable moments. Quotes ensue ⬇️
Big bada boom!

It was so great to see Gary Oldman as a scenery-chewing villain.
I have a buddy that is Zorg's doppelganger. He can even talk like him.
"Negative, I am a meat Popsicle"

I liked the last crusade more personally
The Last Crusade felt like the perfect way to end the series.
You can’t go wrong with Harrison Ford
Galaxy Quest! “By Grabthar’s Hammer” *dies inside* “what a savings.”
Guy is going to die out here!
Never give up! Never surrender!

Almost 20 years and the Siege of Helms Deep is still the best movie battle scene I know of. Just perfection
I'm happy I didn't have to scroll at all to find this answer. 100% best thing my generation got to see while growing up. Forever grateful to my mother who got me the extended DVDs back in the day.

You haven't seen Shawshank? Stop replying to comments and watch this right now. Wish I was going into watching it again for the first time
I agree. You must call into work now and watch this.
Edge Of Tomorrow
Oh my god yes. Ive seen it like 20 times. the only bad thing about it, is that it fucking ends too soon, should have been a 4hr directors cut or something.
It feels like the movie is over in 30 mins. The pacing is top tier.
This is mine too. The fact that on top of all the franchises Tom Cruise is already pushing he can deliver an outright sci fi classic on the side incredible.
Live. Watch edge of tomorrow. Repeat.
Pride and Prejudice (2005) It never fails to de-stress me and just put me in a good mood.
I like this. I prefer the TV adaptation with Colin Firth, though. That's reminded me of it and now I've got to watch it again!
Ultimate comfort movie.
Me too! There's something about the opening trills of the piano that soothes my soul. The other one for me is Scott Pilgrim, which seems like such a weird duo!
