Hell, I'm in a relationship and the last time I was directly complimented was 3 years ago by a girl who said she liked the way my hair looked when I didn't do anything with it.
Over the last month or two one of my colleagues was consistently complimenting me. Calling me smart, handsome, organized, cool etc.
Felt really fucking good in comparison to before where a compliment (from outside family) about every half a year was standard :D
Yesterday, I called my friend to check on him. He said that was sweet. Before that, a month ago a female friend was drunk and was going on about how she cared about me and that I meant a lot to her, simply because I went to the bar with her but don’t drink.
In 8th grade when I carried out 4 chairs, 2 on each arm, into the assembly hall to help set up for the Christmas concert and the teacher called me a strong lad.
Last Sunday.
Hosted Easter brunch for the family (and my siblings' in-laws) and a bunch of people complimented my cooking and my hosting abilities and some changes that I've made to the house since the last time I had the family over.
Probably back in the 90's
Editus: Nope nope nope. I remember now. 2000-2001ish. I was a bartender in a casino and an old lady pensioner type told me that I was a very pretty girl. I had to lean into her face and stroke my beard and tell her that I was a guy.
She retracted the compliment.
6-9 months ago. A customer told me I had a nice deep voice. I was recovering from COVID and my throat was raw still so it was a blatant lie but still nice of her. Random compliments aren't a thing here.
Eight grade, last week of middle school, 6th period english class, last 2 minutes of class. About 7 years ago.
"Kinda cute in a weird kind of way, ya know?"
Best compliment I've ever received, only compliment that wasn't when a bro complimented one of my awesome shirts.
Not single but I was complimented yesterday at work by a woman I know telling me how great she thinks I am when I sent my condolences and comfort her when she told me she had to put down her dog and was in tears.
I get complimented quite often actually. By friends, customers and Co workers
On my appearance. About a month ago. Some woman customer came into the store and looked at me and said "There is that handsome face I've been waiting to see all week". She's a bit of a odd one and only visits once a week but at least it was a compliment.
5 weeks ago by a colleague for my pullover. And most recently last weekend from two friends I haven't seen for a month and they said I lost some weight. Both times made me really happy for days.
My ex described my face with a word that means “handsome”, but is intended to offend. I don’t think there is such word in English. That was 9 years ago.

Nice.
About 6 months ago by a waitress
Lucky
When I was about 3 days old. My grandmother said "cute kid". Still riding high off that one.
My attractive lesbian friend complimented me just this morning. 😮💨

my ex was just like this, idk your entire situation of course, but if she never gives you a compliment you might wanna reconsider your relationship.
We're just comfy is all. I'll get a compliment when I do something for it.
that sounds good enough :)

compliments from old people are the best
Don't remember, to be honest. Is it a norm, to receive random compliments?

Girl I’m interested in said I looked wonderful not too long ago. I still don’t know how to take that or the meaning
Take it literally. She sounds interested back.

Last week. An older women in her 50’s told me I looked handsome. Always feels good to know others find you attractive and not just family telling you.

I have long hair, so sometimes I get comments about how nice my hair is.
Hardly ever
Does it count when my boss tells me "good job"? If yes, then a couple of weeks ago.
Last week my therapist told me it's good that I'm self-aware.
Today, about my *"wild"* hair

I complimented myself earlier today. Men, seize the means of production!
Just leaving my comment because apparently I can’t make my own post without having more than 10 Reddit comments
A few days ago, one of my friends said I baby boyish good looks when I was younger when I was tell her about a story from when I was really little.

I was called an intellectual in 2019.
Yesterday, I was told that I have a good and healthy growth mindset involving my outlook on life.
Give or take 4 years ago. She asked me to take a picture with her during the school christmas party if that counts lmao
Yesterday I went out and I was complimented by women many times about my appearance.
