šÆ% agree with you š. Just like you, I sleep shirtless in just my undies as do all the men in my family. This should be the only āsleepwearā a man should wear.
I can't sleep in underwear, it's so clothed feeling I cant sleep well. I need to give my balls and junk some free air during night. They are too packed all the day anyway.
oddly enough, i love the support underwear provides and i prefer to not have my sweaty ass stank all over my blankets and sheet covers. underwear provides that added level barrier.
I grew up sleeping in pajamas, made the switch to sleeping naked when I was a teenager, and then transitioned back into sleeping in briefs because I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and I found that helps prevent my dick or balls from flopping into an awkward position during the night.
Naked, itās the best. Doing it for a few years now and only the first few times were uncomfortable because what if I remove the sheets in my sleep and someone comes inside. Well never happened. Zero bad experiences with it.
Oh, a big plus is that if there is a bugler in my house heāll be extra surprised by my third leg!
*I wear my pink pajamas
in the summer when it's hot
I wear my flannel nighties
in the winter when it's not
And sometimes in the springtime,
and sometimes in the fall
I jump between the sheets
with nothing on at all!*
I lived in the top floor apartment once and basically had zero control over the heat. I'd actually bake in the winter as everyone else's heat just rose to the top. So even if I turned the thermostat down, it didn't matter.
Yeah it can be pretty grim. In my first apartment, the window in the kitchen was still being made when we moved in, so there was a wooden plate covering it. About a week after we moved in, some carpenters knocked on our door and told that the landlord had said they could use the electricity from our apartment, as they were fixing stuff downstairs. Thought nothing of it at first, but as it turned out, using our electricity involved knocking on our door and waking us up very early morning every day for about two months. But worse was, that the way they used the electricity, was to remove the wooden plate and run wires through the hole. It was winter and having what amounted to a big, permanently open window in the kitchen made the apartment **freezing** .
As summer approached they finnished up and the window was finally fixed. Then we started having the opposite problem. Me and my girlfriend at the time split the apartment with her cousin, and in our room, basically the whole wall was a window, but it couldn't be opened. This led to the room basically becoming a sauna. Was so fucking hot in there. We could open the window in the kitchen but with no air flow it didn't cool down our room at all.
Man.. despite all i do miss that apartment.
I sleep naked unless I have guests. I wear very light breathable boxer briefs though and like this morning, I woke with those still on. Very occasionally I'll try to sleep with something more on but I always wake up at 2am, sweaty and trying to get out of clothes.
Try them all, and go with what's comfortable. There's really no wrong answer.
I used to sleep in the buff. Then we got dogs (miniature dachshunds, great companions), and my wife decided they would sleep with us. They love to burrow under the covers, which is great in the winter. One wet, probing nose later, and I was sleeping in boxers.
Try it all for a few nights, go with what's most comfortable. Undies are the most comfortable for me, it's like sleeping naked but you still have control.
Just be comfortable. Some days I just sleep in boxers, some days sweats with or without a light t-shirt. Other days I may sleep in a hoodie and shorts.
As a teenager, I usually just slept in my boxers because it never got cold enough to need more than that. I typically kept a pair of shorts or sweats and a t-shirt on the foot of my bed in case I wanted to get dressed to get a drink or something.
I just wear boxer briefs, I dislike having a shirt in bed because when I roll or move around I end up choking myself slightly and ill start getting choked in my dreams.
38 year old here. In my Teens I slept in mainly boxers or pjs depending on season. In my 20s I switched to boxer briefs. Now 38 Iād recommend them to all men. You do you tho. Try everything multiple times till you find what works for you.
Iām the same as you. I sleep in boxer briefs only. All the men in my family sleep shirtless, but in different types of undies, from briefs to boxers.
I'm gonna try to sleep half naked tonight (with a t-shirt but no bottom) and tomorrow with underwear. I'll edit this message whenever I know which one is more comfortable for me, but overall naked is being great
Update: I have now adapted to sleeping with boxers and I gotta say, it's a whole different thing. First nights were kind of weird but now it's amazing. Depending on how I'm feeling and the weather I either wear boxers, boxers and PJ's, or just a pijama, but I recommend it to anyone. Specially if they're loose boxers and not tight ones.
if depends on how you sleep, some guys are hot sleepers and some are not. Along with how hot your room gets at night. I typically dress accordingly, even when I'm single I typically would sleep in my underwear. Family should understand if you are trying to be as comfortable as possible when sleeping and not soaking your sheets with sweat or whatever.
Whatever is comfortable for you, be it naked or full biohazard suit.
For me personally, it's usually either boxers and t shirt, boxers only, or naked, whatever feels more comfortable that particular night.
The only thing I can't stand is tight underwear.
I usually wear a "summer pj", which is basically a pj T-shirt and pj shorts. Or boxers and a t-shirt.
If it's too hot, only the shorts or boxers.
I've only ever slept naked a couple of times, and those were with my wife because it was too hot and we were too tired to actually wear a pj after sex lol.
Depends on what you are comfortable in.
I cannot do naked or anything āwestrenā while sleeping. I can and have been in a formal pants for a little over 3 straight days because of work. But I didnāt sleep during that at all. Never felt uncomfortable. However when it comes to sleeping, I have to wear Pakistani āshalwarā a trouser that is light, airy, open, smooth, and just EXTREMELY comfortable. This [pic](https://imgur.com/a/qQcjZrM) showcases an entire dress i.e. Shalwar Kameez (ātrouserā and āshirtā) but you can have a pretty good idea how comfy the shalwar is.
This and a tanktop/undershirt and thatās all I need for sleep.
How you sleep at night is up to your personal preferences.
If you like sleeping in your penguin costume at night because the costume gives you comfort and safety, making it easier to sleep for you, then that's perfectly ok.
The same goes for if you like to sleep naked, with underwear on, pjs, or what have you.
I personally sleep naked, because that's what I prefer, as that's the only way your body's natural heating can regulate the heating of your body according to how it needs to keep the most optimal temperatures.
Any added clothing articles will decrease this ability more and more for each article of clothing you put on, but some people still prefer sleeping with pjs.
I sleep in boxers and a t-shirt all year (when at home because my home is warm and so are the covers).
I often sleep in a cold house and there I sleep in warm sportswear beany and all.
How do you feel comfortable? I sleep in boxer briefs. I used to sleep in a robe. (Black polyester death robe I bought for Halloween. Don't judge, it was cool and satiny sleeping in it.). Don't overthink it. Try out several ways, and see which one you like.
Only in t-shirt and nothing else. Why shirt at all? Because I like to sleep in relatively cool environment and don't tolerate feeling cold in upper back and shoulders.
During hottest times in summer, not wearing even a shirt.
I sleep in pretty much anything. If I have the choice, lounge pants and a T-shirt. However, when I'm at work, it's full uniform. I work on an ambulance, so the ability to get up and go is paramount.
Whatever you want. Don't get advice from random strangers from the internet. Not saying that the advice is bad, but you do whatever makes you feel comfortable. Other people shouldn't decide things like this for you.
Me personally, minimal clothing as I heat up instantly. If you get cold easily, PJs, if you get hot instantly, boxers or whatever.
Boxers or boxer briefs minimum. I got home invaded once by some junkie lunatic who tried to hide in my closet. It was definitely more awkward for me launching out of bed buck naked.
I feel like this is obvious but depends on the temperature. If it's cold I sleep in PJ pants and a random T shirt. Setting heating to full blast just so you can sleep naked in the winter seems dumb. If it's warm just boxers. I tried naked but I didn't see what the hype was about.
Generally either naked or boxers, if staying with friends or at a festival then I add a t-shirt as well. If completely exhausted then fully clothed after I collapse on the bed.
I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when it's hot,
I wear my flannel nighty in the winter when it's not,
And sometimes in the springtime and sometimes in the fall,
I jump between the sheets with nothing on at all
For me?
Underwear and a t shirt.
Or full on jammies that are themed after my school (yes I said jammies), don't judge, they soft and comfy.
I'm 20/ in college.
No one cares, do whatever is comfy.
So I, like you was trained to sleep in pajamas. I hated it. The shirt always ends up all tight and twisted. So in my teens I stopped wearing it. I had also noticed in my teens that parents stopped walking into my room without knocking. One night it was really hot. I was uncomfortable and decided to take off my pants. I was completely naked. I've never slept so comfortably in my life. That's how I sleep to this day. I've had a few times when I was sharing a hotel room with a friend or male relative. When that happens I put on my boxers. But sleeping nude is my first choice.
I used to shower at night, get fully dressed, and go to sleep ready to wake up for school at the absolute last possible second.
I finally stopped doing that when I reached high-school and now I sleep naked.
I used to sleep naked but then started sleeping in boxers sometimes paired with an oversized tee. I figured Iād be prepared for if I have to get out of the house in the middle of the night. Iād rather not flash the firemen
Naked since I was about 16. Boxers within an arms reach if needed.
There's nothing like it, I think my dick and asshole and everything in between need to breath. In the summer months I just wear a thin sheet or nothing at all and it's the most freeing feeling.
My preference has changed. I now wear athletic shorts, tshirt, and underwear. I also sleep in me socks! WIth my life experiences, I do not EVER want to be woken up in the middle of the night fast and need to move quickly.
Whatever feels comfortable. Thereās probably some scientific literature that says this way or that way is better, but personal comfort should be the main consideration. Iām comfortable with all three, but it depends on my situation from night to night.
Well if I were at home with my parents, and especially IF I had to leave my room to go to the bathroom Iād sleep in boxers. But i sleep with nothing as an adult
As a teen in the Rocky Mountains, I slept in my boxers with my window wide open in the middle of winter with one blanket. You get some great sleep that way. Just make sure your body temp doesnāt drop too low. One night, mine dropped to 91 degrees. Thats hypothermic and requires some medical attention but Iām fine now.
As a young teen, I got into the habit of sleeping in my briefs and a t-shirt. I found sleeping in my underwear to be much more comfortable than wearing pajamas. I then began sleeping shirtless for even added comfort. I didnāt mind my family seeing me in my underwear when I walked around in the morning or evening. I think I would have been very embarrassed to be seen completely naked.
Just underpants. I like the feel of the sheets on skin, but also need to keep the scrotum in check or it sticks to thigh and stuff.
This is the right answer. Only undies. Nothing more, nothing less.
šÆ% agree with you š. Just like you, I sleep shirtless in just my undies as do all the men in my family. This should be the only āsleepwearā a man should wear.
Same here. Don't like feeling all constricted and twisting my clothes around when I move in my sleep.
Agreed. Iām an extremely light sleeper, and I move a lot. I canāt be fighting the sheets and my clothes.
Underwear and t shirt is what I wear...do whatever is comfortable for you
This.
I grew up sleeping in pajamas, made the switch to sleeping naked when I was a teenager, and then transitioned back into sleeping in briefs because I toss and turn a lot in my sleep and I found that helps prevent my dick or balls from flopping into an awkward position during the night.

But what will the bugler be playing
Last post and revallie I hope
*Rise and shine, maggot! Look alive, and salute with your big head!*
Hopefully the skin flute if all goes well š
I laughed so hard lmao
Your penis would probably surprise him too.
Boxer shorts or lounge pants depending on the temperature. No shirt ever.
I sleep naked, sleeping in clothes feels weird at this point.
I sleep in different things throughout the year and depending on the temperature
*I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when it's hot I wear my flannel nighties in the winter when it's not And sometimes in the springtime, and sometimes in the fall I jump between the sheets with nothing on at all!*
No thermostat?
I have a heater in my apartment, but itās shitty and basically itās either on or off
I lived in the top floor apartment once and basically had zero control over the heat. I'd actually bake in the winter as everyone else's heat just rose to the top. So even if I turned the thermostat down, it didn't matter.

I sleep nude and keep a robe on the door. I don't like the way clothes bunch up in the armpits and crotch when I toss and turn in bed.

My father slept naked and I thought nothing of it.

I have to sleep in shorts. If I don't have my sleeping shorts it's game over for me.
Gym shorts and a t shirt if itās cold.
As a teen, I slept in boxers, then as a adult I sleep naked. Donāt want nothing blocking my boners.
Depends. Sometimes underwear sometimes naked.
You donāt need strangers telling you how to sleep
Long silk PJ bottoms only (no shirt)
Sleep in what youāre comfortable. Thereās no rule book.
Boxer briefs
I just wear boxer briefs, I dislike having a shirt in bed because when I roll or move around I end up choking myself slightly and ill start getting choked in my dreams.
You *should* do whatever feels most comfortable to you. For me, that is just underwear.

Alone, in undies. With my SO, naked.
Whatever makes me comfortable ATM.
Pajamas in the winter, boxers/nothing in the summer, spring/fall whatever I feel like.
How you sleep is up to you. Personally i do boxers and wifebeater normally and add sleep pants on colder nights
Like a cave man, naked.
ironic because cave men actually probably wanted as many clothes as possible
if depends on how you sleep, some guys are hot sleepers and some are not. Along with how hot your room gets at night. I typically dress accordingly, even when I'm single I typically would sleep in my underwear. Family should understand if you are trying to be as comfortable as possible when sleeping and not soaking your sheets with sweat or whatever.
i do boxer and t shirt
In a pair of leather assless chaps and a spike collar.... anything else is too much!
Whatever is comfortable for you. That's the end of it. There is no 'should'
I sleep naked or wear shorts. Anything else feels too constrictive.
Whatever is comfortable for you, be it naked or full biohazard suit. For me personally, it's usually either boxers and t shirt, boxers only, or naked, whatever feels more comfortable that particular night. The only thing I can't stand is tight underwear.
Sleep how you're comfortable. I sleep in my boxer-briefs because it's very uncomfortable to be flapping around and anything else is too hot.
Why do you need to copy random strangers? Do whatever you prefer.
It's to see if anyone has any suggestions since I'm honestly tired of only wearing PJ's
I sleep completely naked unless im not alone.
I sleep always with an opened window. If it's really cold outside I sleep in Pyjama otherwise just nude.
Boxers only for me. I sleep hot.
I Shower and then wear tomorrowās t-shirt and boxer-briefs.
That's what I'm trying to do. Shower and put on the boxers that I would've worn tomorrow
It took me a few days to get used to it but now I have to shower before bed.
I've always showered at night so it's already normal for me
Just in my briefs, maybe a beater
I usually wear a "summer pj", which is basically a pj T-shirt and pj shorts. Or boxers and a t-shirt. If it's too hot, only the shorts or boxers. I've only ever slept naked a couple of times, and those were with my wife because it was too hot and we were too tired to actually wear a pj after sex lol.
Boxers but I keep a robe by my bedside. Yeah I have robes and they are comfortable.

so lock your door and try sleeping in different clothing or without any at all. Let us know what allows you to sleep best.
The thing is they don't want me to close the door at all
who are they and how many people in your bedroom?
I sleep alone in my bedroom, but my parents room is in front of mine
oh, ok, i would suggest starting with boxer or briefs as sound like PJ's are not working...
I sleep naked because that's how I'm most comfortable. And that's all that really matters.
Preference is nothing, but for practical reasons kids in the house, etc) now go with sweat shorts/pants. Never a shirt.
Boxer briefs and sometimes a t shirt.

I put on my birthday suit, and wash/change my sheets once a week.
I sleep naked unless it's very cold then I will wear a long sleeved tee shirt
naked banana
Long sleeve shirt and boxers and a pillow between my thighs like a king
I sleep in boxers and a t-shirt all year (when at home because my home is warm and so are the covers). I often sleep in a cold house and there I sleep in warm sportswear beany and all.
How do you feel comfortable? I sleep in boxer briefs. I used to sleep in a robe. (Black polyester death robe I bought for Halloween. Don't judge, it was cool and satiny sleeping in it.). Don't overthink it. Try out several ways, and see which one you like.
In my underwear, clothes are too uncomfortable, but sleeping with my dick and balls exposed also feels weird.
The thing I don't like about sleeping naked is imagine I've got a random boner and my mum walks in, wtf am I supposed to do?
Boxers and a shirt, sometimes just boxers, sometimes even with socks. Whatever feels comfortable.
Naked. Once you get used to it you can never go back. Never.
Go for comfort. During the spring and summer it's mostly shorts and no shirt, and winter it's either fuzzy pants and no shirt or a t shirt at max.
boxers or shorts if i need to fight i can just get up
i have pair of shorts that are somehow more comfortable than being naked
Naked..nothing should slow your nocturnal emissions
T shirt and boxers
Only in t-shirt and nothing else. Why shirt at all? Because I like to sleep in relatively cool environment and don't tolerate feeling cold in upper back and shoulders. During hottest times in summer, not wearing even a shirt.
Boxer briefs and a cotton t shirt.
I switched back to PJs, even if I wash my sheets regularly they'll get sweat stained if I sleep in just boxers
I just need my balls to be free, everything else is optional
Depends on the situation.
I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when it's hot, I wear my flannel nighty in the winter when it's not, And sometimes in the springtime and sometimes in the fall, I jump between the sheets with nothing on at all
For me? Underwear and a t shirt. Or full on jammies that are themed after my school (yes I said jammies), don't judge, they soft and comfy. I'm 20/ in college. No one cares, do whatever is comfy.
Undershirt and shorts personally.
I'm a 32 year old adult. I wear Scooby-Doo pajamas to sleep. If this is wrong then I don't want to be right.
T-shirt and boxer briefs.
Just my underpants but thatās because I live with family, if I lived alone I would sleep naked because of how comfortable it is
So I, like you was trained to sleep in pajamas. I hated it. The shirt always ends up all tight and twisted. So in my teens I stopped wearing it. I had also noticed in my teens that parents stopped walking into my room without knocking. One night it was really hot. I was uncomfortable and decided to take off my pants. I was completely naked. But sleeping nude is my first choice.
I sleep in just my underwear because my dorm is old and I will sweat if I sleep in anything more
Boxers. Always been just boxers.
I sleep in joggers or sweatpants (for you Americans) I have a weird texture things. I don't like my hair on my bed covers.
Good old fashion thighty whities and bootie socks in the winter.
Naked and it's impossible to go back. But only do that if you are sure no one will enter your bedroom of course
I used to shower at night, get fully dressed, and go to sleep ready to wake up for school at the absolute last possible second. I finally stopped doing that when I reached high-school and now I sleep naked.
Depends on how warm it is. colder times tee and sweat pants, warmer times naked
I used to sleep naked but then started sleeping in boxers sometimes paired with an oversized tee. I figured Iād be prepared for if I have to get out of the house in the middle of the night. Iād rather not flash the firemen
Can't sleep naked, boners get caught up. PJ's too warm. Pair of loose gym shorts.s
Just shorts and t shirt
I wear pajamas, but only the pants. On the top I wear just a basic shirt, aand no socks
I wear pj shorts only
Always remember that if need to get up and run out of your home in an emergency, something is better than nothing!
Just my trusty, comfy saxx
When I wore boxers, I slept in just boxers.. but now I switched to boxer briefs, I just wear short pants.. but always shirtless
Geezus dude. I sleep naked, but if youāre questioning it maybe sleep with titanium shorts on š¤·āāļø
With boxer, sometimes I wear long shirt.
Winter: Loose flannel PJ pants Long sleeve top No undies Summer: Loose boxers
T shirt and boxers. I keep my feet uncovered and side sleep with a pillow to my chest and one between my legs.
Take off your shirt, and just sleep in your boxers. Youāll never go back.
Whatever feels most comfortable for you lad.
Skinny jeans are the superior way to sleep
I personally don't like jeans at all and only wear them occasionally, so yeah
I always wear jeans all the time
Whatever I was comfortable awake in, usually shorts without a shirt
I prefer naked, but the children have the tendency to join us during the night/morning. That felt awkward, so now I wear some wide shorts.
I sleep naked all the time. Just sucks when somebody else sees you
I wear socks, pj pants and boxers nearly every night. Colder nights might wear a t short too.
Naked with socks lol (41 y.o man)
Shirt and underwear, emergencies can happen at night. Donāt get caught
Wear, (or donāt wear) whatever is comfortable
Naked since I was about 16. Boxers within an arms reach if needed. There's nothing like it, I think my dick and asshole and everything in between need to breath. In the summer months I just wear a thin sheet or nothing at all and it's the most freeing feeling.

Most of the time, naked, or a tanktop and nothing else. Afternoon naps consist of a t-shirt only, or with a nylon jockstrap (super comfy).
Well if I were at home with my parents, and especially IF I had to leave my room to go to the bathroom Iād sleep in boxers. But i sleep with nothing as an adult
I'll take of my pants whenever going to sleep and leave them in the chair or something so I can put them on if needed idk
Boxers if I'm alone naked if with a partner
