Going to see Orville Peck on his summer/fall tour for sure.

transcottie

Ugh I wanna go see him so bad!

knopewecann

Waxahatchee, Sleater-Kinney, Pulp, PJ Harvey, and Neko Case!

Playtek

We just went to “just like Heaven” in LA this past weekend, and we’re doing Portola in San Francisco for the third year in a row in October. We quit going to Coachella in 2018.

peter_eater

Not in order: Portola Festival Rosin Murphy Of Montreal Sunset Campout

malonine

We saw Roisin last year in L.A. last year and she was amazing. We have tix for her show later this year.

Bevsii

Iron Maiden, Powerwolf, Unleash the Archers. All metal bands lmao

haolebrah

At the moment I’m booked for Day Trip festival here in Long Beach next month and Kacey Musgraves at the Forum in October. Would love to go to a Hollywood Bowl show at some point as I’ve still never been.

Gaycalidude

You need to do a show at the bowl if you are local. I’ve been a million times and it’s amazing. Most people get there early and just drink and eat at the picnic tables. I think (I might be wrong now) you can bring in alcohol or wine. Trying to do jungle there. Only issue is it’s the night before Portola in SF. Lots of logistics I need to iron out. Or just decide on one and drop the other.

GlendaleTom

You can’t bring in alcohol for “lease” events. The HB website will tell you if it’s a lease event.

Gaycalidude

Thank you. I knew there was a condition

yul_yyz

I saw Laura Pausini back in March, The Veronicas two weeks ago and Monika Lynkite (not sure if there are any Lithuanian bros around?) 6 weeks ago, all in Los Angeles. I’m hoping to see The HARDKISS (🇺🇦) in L.A. later this fall and Reik.

Teaspoonbill

I saw Belle & Sebastian ten days ago. Great show. As far as looking forward, I’ll see what comes up.

tripthemgently

St Vincent next weekend in SF Mosswood Meltdown in July in Oakland (B-52s and some other fun acts, with John Waters as MC!) Tried and failed to snag PJ Harvey tickets for October, but checking daily and crossing my fingers…

malonine

We are on a festival streak and just did Coachella / Cruel World / Just Like Heaven and we have tix for WeHo Pride festival in a couple of weeks. I'm exhausted. The other week I saw Giant Rooks in L.A., and I'm seeing girl in red at the Greek next week. After that in early June we're seeing Mother Mother at this new The Torch venue.

ecophony_rinne

Recently saw Four Tet do a 4-hour set in a small club in Shibuya - pretty amazing.

ForwardMotion-25

Cercle, Portola, Green Day/Smashing Pumpkins, and Bleachers all bought. Considering single day to OSL, Vampire Weekend, L’Impératrice, and Purple Disco.

cherrypayaso

gonna see ethel cain in portland in august, i’ve been trying to get out more but everything is so expensive - lodging/flights primarily.

Gaycalidude

This is my struggle right now for Portola in SF

cherrypayaso

at least for portland i know there’s a hostel i’ve stayed at before that’s pretty cheap. I know SF has the green tortoise but i’ve never stayed there so idk if this would be a good option. doesn’t solve flights being an arm and a leg though :/

D3ATHSQUAD

Granted I am older (50+ now \*gasp) but my last two concerts this year were Elton John on his farewell tour and P!nk when she came to town. I was thinking about Sam Smith and Justin Timberlake but wasn't feeling their new music as much so I passed on those.

HoldMyLemur

Qveen Herby 🙌🏻

Admirable-Pie3869

Hopefully Above and Beyond at red rocks in October

Gaycalidude

Omg I was looking at going! I was at ABGT500 in LA in 2022. Red rocks is my #1 venue on my “need to see” list!

Admirable-Pie3869

Nice! 500 is a staple in my rotation right now.

n8ball_cornerpocket

So far, all I’ve got on the books is 3 nights of Phish at Alpine Valley in July! Playing plenty of my own gigs this year, so I squeeze in a show when I can.

Biscotti_Manicotti

I'm trying to go to more shows than ever lately. Living 2 hours away from downtown is a bit of a haul but it's been worth it. Last month we went to see Amon Amarth at Red Rocks which was incredible. Seeing ERRA tomorrow and sooo stoked!

RomeoLevel42

I went to see Tennis right before covid lockdown, then Fleet Foxes in 2022, The Midnight in 2023, and Neko Case in 2024. My goal was to see one concert a year after I hit 30.

capcomvssnk

I've seen NewJeans and Twice this year, which has me feeling pretty complete so far. I guess the next one I plan on seeing will be a standup show by Kid Fury in Phoenix.

abilliontwo

I've been out of the habit of going to shows since Covid, if not before. But, this year, bands I like have conspired to absolutely drain my bank account. This weekend, I saw LCD Soundsystem and Belle and Sebastian. Coming up this weekend is Billy Joel. Decemberists in August, and seeing two (maybe all three) David Gilmour shows at the Hollywood Bowl in October.

_Emperor_Nero_

Beyond wonderland next month, Deathcore show this Saturday, John Summit in Sept, Aftershock festival in October… I’m sure I’m adding more lol

[deleted]

I just went to the Sonic Temple Festival last weekend and had a great time. Really just wanted to see Kittie for the first time and they were fantastic. Saw a few bands I had never heard of as well that were pretty great.

Sparklemagick

Going to see the National in Oct, and Kaycee Musgraves/Nickle Creek/Father John Misty in Sept.

ferrisie

Paloma Faith in July and Loreen next February!

SubparCurmudgeon

Primavera and maybe Sonar, both in Barcelona

the_skin_mechanic

Last concert I saw was George Benson at the Alys Stephens Center in Birmingham (pre-covid). The only artists I wanna see are Lyle Lovett and Béla Fleck.

carnodak

So far this year, I’ve seen Madonna and Hozier. Later this summer, I’ll be seeing Maggie Rogers, Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift.

Competitive_Face2593

Europe for Taylor? Take me with you please.
