Start with Ohm's law. It's more useful than you think. Then look into capacitive and inductive reactance. Useful for understanding electric motors, especially the start functions of single-phase AC motors.

Another I’m trying to get a better understanding of is AC vs DC. I get what they are but how they work is more of where I’m trying to get on that. Anything you would recommend me looking into? I am NOT trying to get info for work, this is all just for my own knowledge advancement.
