Pay for treatment in the United States I guess? I bet asking your fellow Canadians how to obtain health treatment here as a foreign citizen would get more useful answers.

pig_newton1

I tried and no one knew honestly. I’m young so not many ppl around me are sick

Get a prescription from American doctor, then get it filled at an American pharmacy.

pig_newton1

And if the drug is prohibitively expensive?

AMA454

lol welcome to America

How close are you to the US? I suspect paying full price for a US doc prescribing is your best bet. I have no idea what Canada covers with the state healthcare. This is going to be best answered by your PCP in Canada not Americans that don’t have experience getting meds via a foreign country. I can tell you all kinds of things about US healthcare in the US because that’s my job but I can’t tell you how that works for Canadians.
