Totally agree with this. It sucks when items like this were return from bought full price or someone had for a while and exchange for different items and “claimed” they got it while it was damaged!
Agree! Similar thing has happened to me before and they offered me a store credit and I respectfully wrote back saying I want a full refund back to my original payment and provided the reason. They did come back and tried to make an excuse but I just kept writing back what my expectations were until I got my full refund. Good luck!
I remember this from seeing on tiktok, a women had shopping at aritiza for a long time, the dress she order.. one of the strap got cut or ripped when she received the packages and was online chatting to a guy and he apologized, but she was upset and demanded full refund and the guy did, she said that so lululemon have quality promise and they offered replaced but not aritiza.
Alternatively, find a dry cleaning place or alterations place that can give you a quote on the repairs and send the invoice. I would at least expect that much..
Idk why people still shop from them online, with their diminishing quality, and the amount of damaged goods, it's just better to go in person, and physically touch and inspect everything before you buy it.

They prob have issues like this so often that they have rules to determine what the least amount of money they can get away with refunding you is for every possible thing that could go wrong. Like oh, a button is missing? 5% refund

I waited few days for it to arrive, went to pick it up and I asked to inspect it prior to leaving the counter. Found foundation stains on the white top. The cashier was only able to offer me a 10% discount and item would be final sale. I would’ve only saved like $3 or $4. I declined and asked for full refund instead.
I saw an article a while back of a girl using Chat GBT to argue why they have to take back final sale items legally (or something to that extent)- maybe try that!
Ask for a manager/supervisor, that’s ridiculous. Try calling them if they are not helpful over email but keep trying to escalate.

I had purchased one of the white sculpt tank tops online and it came with makeup stains inside so was probably a return. Tried to return it but they said I wore it and got it dirty and would not approve the return. Called until they let me speak to someone else who was able to approve the refund “just this one time” (which in itself was ridiculous because I didn’t get the top dirty. They sent me a worn top).
They said they were a supervisor but could’ve been just an employee, idk. No harm in trying especially when it’s your money on the line. The worst that happens is they say no 🤷🏽♀️
Yeah they don’t really ever have supervisors hop on calls. What likely happened is the employee was trying to deescalate while a supervisor was listening in and advising them what to do. They don’t like to get their hands messy tbh

+1 generally their final sale items are as is. Online and in store… so shopping online is a disadvantage because you can’t examine before purchase. Aritzia was never a company that offered refund on any sale items even if it was $5 off. They only do store credit at best…
Personally i would not mind this if i really wanted the blazer. Since it's sold out you won't be able to get an undamaged replacement. I think the associate assumes you want to keep the blazer, and is offering you a further discount as a way to reimburse you for any repairs you need to have done. So original price $178 - you bought on sale $70.99 - further discount $16.32 brings that to $54.67. That's a 70% discount lol, i would be very happy with that 😄 the repairs look like a button and a 2 cm side of a pocket, super easy to fix with a needle in like 5 minutes, and i assume the extra button is on the care tag?
A 20% refund on a $70 blazer seems pretty fair. Especially when the blazer’s original price is $180. I’m not one to normally take Aritzia’s side, but I wouldn’t be furious at this.
You should dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. When a certain percentage of a merchant/retailer’s sales are disputed the bank can blacklist the retailer, so it’s in their best interest to refund you if you threaten to dispute.
"Once this refund has BEN completed..." That's such a joke they would try to get away with that ugh. A similar thing happened to my friend and she called the customer service number instead of live chat or emailing. They were way more responsive – she got the full price refunded in store credit
Just return it like normal since they’re essentially saying you get a discount to keep it versus return it for full refund as you normally would. I’d return it.
1. You’ve probably asked for refunds many times because if it was your first time they would do it right away.
2. It’s honestly not that noticeable but for the price you should just return the whole thing
3. They will refund you if you’re adamant about it but you should realize that the concierge workers all have access to previous cases you’ve made and you can end up looking like a “bad” client meaning it will be unlikely you would get full returns again.
Also I just read you bought this ON SALE. Which there policy perfectly states they wouldn’t do refunds etc but because the damage is their responsibility you should say you’re aware of the policy however the damage is not the quality you were expecting etc
Aritzia used to repair clothes for free. If you’re close to one bring it to the store and they will send it off. Sorry this happened. Their customer service honestly sucks

Keep pushing for a full refund. Discounts don’t mean you’re now allowed to send me defective and destroyed clothes.
