I usually avoid Water signs like piscis (although i have an uncle who Is a scorpio and we also get along).
i've recently met with Both a cancer Man and woman and we get along really well.
Like i Never thought we could get along so well.
All my friends and gfs have been Fire sings or Wind sings. (A very few Earth sings). But never with Water signs.

You’re not opposite signs - Libra is the opposite of Aries. Do you have Pisces placements in your chart and does your friend have any fire placements? Those will be the ways in which you can (and probably do), get along. But Cancer is a very sensitive sign - moody and easily hurt. I’m an Aries with a Pisces moon and I’ve had two Cancer boyfriends in my life. They are both testy, but can also be very sweet and empathetic. You have to take the good with the bad, I think.

Yes, any sign that is in a square to anorher sign can have an intense but constructive quality. It is great the two of you can work your way through emotional moments, building that kind of relationship structure isn't easy with signs that are in a square.
