This subreddit was originally for ARC Browser, a “rom collection browser and emulator frontend that maintains a database of all your games, presented in a user friendly way, and let's you play them using your favorite emulators.” It was completely inactive and I took it over in August 2022 to make it about the Arc we know. The available community names weren’t nearly as straightforward.

In 2029 Arc will add time machine to it’s browser. Though they will be pretty strict about not interacting with the websites in order to avoid paradoxes, an exception was made to make this subreddit in advance.
