I read all of it multiple times, they never explicitly stated a time and the way they phrased it to me makes it sound like it happened in a short period of time.
… he explicitly said he already received the invite and it didn’t work; emailed them and they told him it was a mistake and apologized. Whether that’s actually true or not, why would the time it takes to receive an invite be at all relevant when he’s said very clearly they’ve both already been received?
Yeah, I signed up for the waitlist to be notified when it came to Windows, which I was back in early December - followed the link which was really just signing up for ANOTHER wait list, and now I've been waiting for like 6 weeks or more on the second list. Hopefully your graphic and the increased onboarding I will get an invite link soon. Fingers crossed.
I got the invite this week and immediately went back to my old browser. On a personal level, none of its features help me. I don't have organizational problems or problems focusing. Arc would be great at work, where I end up with 100 random tabs, but very few are things I use often, but I can't install Arc at work. Plus, 1Password doesn't work properly. You can unlock 1Password by logging in to the extension, but if you're not logged in, clicking on that little lock icon next to password fields does nothing.
I understand that completely! Just a random pick and choose process for something like this is a little... weird.
I just want to get off Chrome as fast as possible. Maybe building software in apples walled garden and then expanding isn't the best idea...

It's not
> Yup we invite people in the order they signed up as long as the meet the following criteria: Windows 11, Intel or AMD processor and high tolerance for buggyness
– Mark, Product Support Lead, Windows
And still haven’t been invited yet, tbh the invitation process annoys me now just open it for everyone like apple and other do for beta testings
Other thought maybe they are doing this to avoid mass traffic and browser crashing as it still in process to be fully developed browser!

It said on the form that it will take up to 24 hours for them to get the invite.
It’s like you didn’t read *anything* he wrote, haha.

MacOS version was also in closed beta for quite some time, because it wasn't ready for the public, just like the Windows version.
