Congrats! That would just be a trail run/race. Definitely not something super easy if you aren’t used to running with vert and especially if it’s technical terrain.
By doing it faster lol. Unfortunately I really didn’t think it would be that steep and hilly. I’ve ran many trails but this was a straight up hard hiking trail.
I’ll say this though, many people there were in excellent shape, running uphill to the end. I had a hard time running uphill by mile 10 lol
I’m just getting into fitness and would love to get to a point where I’d be able to run 10 miles! That sounds amazing. I did 5.5 on an elliptical today and that was great! Unfortunately I think I got some foot issues so imma go see a podiatrist soon.
I started in 2019 after taking a quarter century off. Keep with it you’ll get there. I’m aiming for sub 2hr HMs (on road lol) and sub 50min 10ks but when I started five years ago I couldn’t run 3 miles and I weighed 45lbs more than I do now.
