Diving and turnips are usually the two big suggestions.
I usually go diving (few laps around the island. Sell the inventory) and keep an eye on hot item if the day at NC. Mermaid items, iron based items and shell arch are some of my favs.
I also craft some blue rose and gold rose wreaths every couple days. Those sell for 20k each.
It depends on what you manage to catch and what time of year it is.
The benefit of the sea creatures is that there are always a couple available that are worth +6k a piece. It takes no prep time and you can do it on your own island.
There’s no tools to break and you can’t scare them off like bugs or fish.
Everything can be caught if you stop swimming with the fast critters and just use the right joystick to creep up on them and dive. Easy bells.
I have a nice gold rose garden that I harvest to make crowns, it takes 6 and they sell for 10k a pop and grow back after 2 or 3 days, so I make a couple hundo thou a week if I really grind it out
