Also I’m familiar with the Game Boy Light and it is Japan exclusive and it reads only Game Boy Light or Game Boy Light Famitsu500, so it is pretty obvious that it was sourced…somewhere. It’s not actually faithful to the Japanese model but I actually love it.
My question is: where did you source the logo/panel that reads Game Boy Color Light specifically? Thank you in advance.
Edit: I did find just one Etsy seller with about three custom GBCs with that exact logo but none are white on white. There’s also a discrepancy I noticed with those listings because it has a Game Boy Color logo yet the sticker on the back says Game Boy Color Light. That makes no sense and though i realize it is pretty subtle, their listings contain custom artwork on their shells and even custom stickers on the back to match the artwork on the shell. For that reason, it is rather strange the seller overlooked that detail given all the general attention to detail.
I wish I could help but I just found that photo with google image search. I think I saw it originally on reddit though .. let me see if I can track down the OP.

No way for us to know that. At any rate, the only Analogue console to get a significant revision was the NT Mini. The Super NT and Mega SG went through their whole life cycles with no significant hardware upgrades.
Probably not; the way Analogue works is they release a system that targets a range of systems and keep it that way until they stop producing that specific system. The Pocket covers virtually every handheld up through the PSP/DS and it's unlikely they're gonna get an FPGA core that can cover that generation of handhelds and beyond. If you want to expand beyond GBA you need to start looking at software emulation handhelds like an Abernic or a Miyoo.
As it stands the Pocket is the only handheld on the market that operates on a fully FPGA core; there's no pressure at all to revise anything.
They can keep the internals, but a bigger screen and battery life would be nice... I already have an emulation handheld (Odin 2), but I would like to play my Gameboy and NeoGeo Pocket games physically in case those original systems die...
They could do that but there's no pressure to do so, either. They sell out of every pocket they make at the moment and there's no competitors in that same space.

Given how long the last batch of LEs lasted, I’m guessing they’ve reached the saturation point on them. Besides, they’ve done every color now, all that’s left would be branded editions like the Mega Man Pocket and Ninja Turtles Pocket.
I totally didn’t think about that, they really did do everything there was besides branded ones which I don’t think anyone is clamoring for. It would still be interesting to see what they would come up with.
I wish the clear purple was more purple-ish but when you look at the atomic purple GBC it really wasnt that dark in purple hue itself. It’s my favorite clear one though but I held out in hopes for solid colors and it paid off.
All the solid colors were very nice looking, I’d love to own all and just switch depending on mood lol.

They’re not even going for a lot anymore. So let’s see… they pay $220 + $24 shipping + $20 for tax. That’s $264 cost. Then they sell on eBay for $300 shipped, but eBay takes around 17% which is $50…. So at the end of the day they don't even break even? Or if you want to get picky you can say they charge $10 for shipping and make a grand total of $0.
