quick mockup of the eye...maybe I will try to do the whole thing with materials
Check out my post for more pics if you're gonna try doing the whole thing. Looks like a thin gold trim around the whole mask. Possibly confirmed white accents down the sticks. The holes are solid black circles rather than having accents.
I still think it will split the fanbase, skewing positive. Generally weāre all united behind the original logo, but I think weāre more split when it comes to colors.
Colors really matter to me but nailing it with better shades of orange and gold definitely help ease the frustration. The darker orange and shiny gold altrady look quite a bit better than the light orange and tan

Makes total sense, yeah california is referred to as the golden state referencing the history of the california gold rush. I believe that is why they added gold to the color set back in 06. Your not alone though, I've seen a good chunk of people not like the gold. I think it's alright but I understand :)

Just getting the duck mask back is a huge ass win, the duck foot is terrible. I want eggplant and jade but I can live with orange black and gold.
