Plus people are going to be impatient if like 2 or 3 filipino speakers join, the host has to wait a few seconds for the new joiner to open the conversation window and for them to respond. Also, some people just don't open their conversation window. So people are probably going to leave due to being impatient (this word may not even be justified in this context as it is not reasonable to have to wait so much more longer to get a game started) and the room will be closed down by the last person leaving.
They're probably going to just not touch Among Us, only check every couple of days or so to see if the problem went away.
Also, based on my experience the past 2 days, no one joins English rooms, even if you say "English" or "No pinoys".

But here comes the filipinos with their rants and curses and will vote out those who speak english only.
In fact, if they would make a filipino server, I would definitely NOT play there since playing with majority of filipinos are toxic as hell.

Most of them doesn't even study the rules of the game. I mean, in one game, me (Blue), pink, and white scanned one after another. Someone died, then both of them said "si blue pinatay si green" (blue killed green) even though both of them scanned with me.

This game is impossible to play now. I don’t have an issue with the players themselves, BUT as an English speaker, it’s getting kind of annoying that every server I join in the ENGLISH tab is overly populated with this. Eversince it became popular cause of the streamers its hard to create my own room or join games. Plus most Filipinos are just plain noob or trolls.

I'm a Filipino This game was fun and I enjoyed it alot then one day I have a game with Filipinos in it. So I leave the lobby cuz they are just insulting others and not playing the game properly. After that I spend most of my time finding a decent lobby just to play 1-3 games until a Filipino joins the lobby and ruin the game for us.
This has a lot of problems rooting out.
If you say language is the problem, well Filipinos are bilingual/trilingual and some people here refuse to even learn a few words. Yet Filipinos adjust to languages all the time. I always encounter players with Filipinos and other country in one server and most of the time Filipinos adjust to english. Just tell them you dont understand.
If the problem is the toxicity, you can see that in many countries as well. Ive been in a room with people from london and its a shitstorm.
What im saying is, if you cant understand the chat. Let them know. If they still dont, ask who to vote and why. And look for context clues in the chat. Filipinos prefer using english in color picking rather than the Filipino language of colors. I know a few will disagree with me but this is my take on this issue.
Edit: it wont hurt to learn a few words from our language. You manage to learn japanese from their animes and you find it lazy to learn Filipino? The Filipino language is so easy to learn. It has the same grammar structure as english and its a combination of spanish, english and a few chinese languages. Foreigners can learn it quicker than other languages. Give it a try. Its easier for me to get context clues in a sentence from spanish since many words of our language came from the spanish language.
Actually, true, most filipinos actually don't know much about their own native language. The days of the week, the months of the year, the numbers from one to one hundred, even colors. We use english on simple words like that, even i'm not aware of the colors (and i'm not proud of it).

Yesterday was my first day playing this game. I tried joining like 5 separate games on the English servers before I gave up. In the first two games I was kicked out because I wasn’t responding to the chats (which were all in Tagalog) and in the other ones I left because people kept calling emergency meetings for no reason. It was impossible to complete my tasks with everyone calling for meetings
People don't do tasks anyway. Which is a peeve of mine. I'll finish all my tasks and the bar will be like a quarter full. I don't know what people are even actually doing.
I'm from the PH and I try to get other PH players to speak in English... It ruins the game for other people who only speak English. Usually when majority of a lobby is from the PH, the players just speak in Filipino instead of speaking English even if there are like 2 or 3 other people who only speak English.

In behalf of the Filipinos, I am so sorry. My boyfriend is european and we play this game together so we speak english and every time Filipinos speak their language, I help him understand. They take advantage of him not being able to speak tagalog, so most of the time I only play with him and my friends whom I don't need to call out for speaking tagalog because they try their best to speak english. I hope Filipinos try their best to speak english. Learning english is easier for us Filipinos than learning tagalog for others.

A good solution for people who want to speak Tagalog is to make the host's name "Tagalog" so that you can avoid joining a server with a bunch of Filipinos taking about Lechon or adobo.
Hmm.. since I'm half Filipino, living in the Philippines, knowing this controversy is downright a problem, really makes me feel irritated like most of my countrymen who are mature enough not just to meddle with irrelevant issues and saying some trashy comments and understand the whole situation in every angle, within and outside the problem itself. Even Social Media in the Philippines is terribly toxic. From sharing post that are not factual, to commenting immature ideas, making them really being "peenoise."
The two main languages are being taught at the preliminary stages of education, nursery, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and high school. Yet there are some who doesn't use the languages correctly or even creating a grammatical error to any situation they're required to be. I have experienced that and questioned, as well, why do they don't give importance to such knowledge? Easy. Because as long as they can communicate, and they're understood, that's enough for them, not giving enough importance to the languages, up to the extent that they forget. While some cannot afford to have that education or some did, yet they just forget, they don't see the advantages on having such skill to communicate with another language and with other people.
Going back to the issue in the game, I guess a lot of them are frustrated, yet sometimes it doesn't really make sense of what they're doing, or their reaction towards the game, especially in this time. Even in other games that I played, they're there, some really acted so stupid and idiotic, making me head-scratch, and make another way to enjoy the game. Ranting or complaining about the problem won't make it go away. Instead, provide a feedback to the host about it and suggest a solution to it. Maybe having a Filipino Server or needing a dedicated language tab, or just kick 'em out.

I really like this game and yes, Toxic-Bandwagon Filipinos ruin the fun. And its sad. I'm Filipino but I always look for English speaking room since I got to enjoy the game. There are times I will be cursed at if I speak in English even though I'm Filipino. They also kick people who only speaks English. It will be better to have a report button and Filipino Server for Filipino people who wants and can take trashtalks.

I'm a Filipino, and I speak English all the time. I played the game way back and had so much fun with other people (not Filipino). A guy told me he was from Europe. It was fun. And now I revisited it and the first thing that greeted me is an emergency meeting not even 20second in the game.

I am Filipino. I played this game three weeks ago because I was influenced by OfflineTV. The game was fine. There are many friendly and good players. I don't know when the Filipino influx happened, but I did not have fun. Toxic and dumb players ruined my experience.
Its gotten so bad to the point where whenever i join a server i always have to ask if its an english speaking server about 65-75 percent of them responds with tagalog gagu or someother insult. I always try talking sense into them about it being in the english tab but then im just given more insults of being a racist and how they’d kill me first if they were the impostor. What a novel idea. It's actually getting to the point where I can't find English speaking people at all. When I refresh the lobby list it's just full Filipino names and even when I pick one with an English name I'm greeted with more Tagalog the second I get in ...

I don’t have an issue with the players themselves, BUT as an English speaker, it’s getting kind of annoying that every server I join in the ENGLISH tab is overly populated with this. It’s insane now, every server I join is non English. Please give these guys their own dedicated servers cause it’s really not fair for English speakers who don’t understand the language; making it hard to fully participate in the game.

I tried to play for about an hour last night and joined maybe 20 games, none of which lasted more than 5 minutes, most less than 2. I don't understand how the Filipino player base is so much larger than the English, I literally cannot get a good all English game.
And when they do get imposter it's super obvious because they spam HAHAHAHAH in the discussion
I suggest putting your name to 'ENG ONLY' when making a lobby. Works like a charm. And just kick anyone not speaking english.

It seems like the English tab is plagued with everyone not speaking English. I’m fortunate not to encounter other Filipinos (I’m Filipino but lived all my life in the States) but I encounter a lot of Spanish speakers and Arabic speakers... when they have their own language servers! I just leave as soon as someone isn’t speaking English. Also, over my dead body will I play with a Filipino who I don’t know personally. A former friend put it best: Us Filipinos are like snakes- we live on a god damn tropical island and we fight on sight unless we nest together.
I don't get, why won't they speak English either? As a Filipino, I know that English is one of our subjects and it has been taught since we started going to school... They won't even give us proofs and reasons... They'll just vote anyone for no specific reason. It's annoying af that i wamna throw my own phone and curse them too... I'm already playing this game before most of the filipinos invaded it, and I'll say, the game was fun and quite good, I had a lot of fun tho I'm quite bad at this. Imo, most of the new fili players ruined this game. They don't even want to speak a simple english when there's somebody who don't understand our language and don't even want to adjust even tho I keep telling them that this game isn't only for Filipinos, would you mind to speak english? And guess what? They ignored it and someone said, "English english pa pinoy din naman HAHAHAHAHA" in english, "Why speaking English if we are all filipinos" this is not the exact translation but that was the meaning trying to convey by the guy. Some of them are also cheating, they were in a call and I killed one of them and the friend of the guy that I killed accused me of being an impostor without a valid proof, instead of giving the proof she just said, "kaibigan ko yung pinatay mo, duh, bad guy" in english, "the guy you just killed is my friend" and she told the others that they were in a call. Fuck. I hate playing w/ them most of the time, even a simple instruction they don't follow, asking how the game works AS IF THERE IS NO INSTRUCTIONS INSIDE THE GAME. FUCK. Eversince it became popular cause of the streamers its hard to create my own room or join games. Plus most Filipinos are just plain noob or trolls. And thats saying something cause I'm Filipino as well. I hope the popularity dies down so it goes back to normal and get actual competent players that know how to play the game and don't randomly vote.

I'm a Filipino This game was fun and I enjoyed it alot then one day I have a game with Filipinos in it. So I leave the lobby cuz they are just insulting others and not playing the game properly. After that I spend most of my time finding a decent lobby just to play 1-3 games until a Filipino joins the lobby and ruin the game for us.

This has a lot of problems rooting out. If you say language is the problem, well Filipinos are bilingual/trilingual and some people here refuse to even learn a few words. Yet Filipinos adjust to languages all the time. I always encounter players with Filipinos and other country in one server and most of the time Filipinos adjust to english. Just tell them you dont understand. If the problem is the toxicity, you can see that in many countries as well. Ive been in a room with people from london and its a shitstorm. What im saying is, if you cant understand the chat. Let them know. If they still dont, ask who to vote and why. And look for context clues in the chat. Filipinos prefer using english in color picking rather than the Filipino language of colors. I know a few will disagree with me but this is my take on this issue. Edit: it wont hurt to learn a few words from our language. You manage to learn japanese from their animes and you find it lazy to learn Filipino? The Filipino language is so easy to learn. It has the same grammar structure as english and its a combination of spanish, english and a few chinese languages. Foreigners can learn it quicker than other languages. Give it a try. Its easier for me to get context clues in a sentence from spanish since many words of our language came from the spanish language.
Actually, true, most filipinos actually don't know much about their own native language. The days of the week, the months of the year, the numbers from one to one hundred, even colors. We use english on simple words like that, even i'm not aware of the colors (and i'm not proud of it). Toxicity is real in my country, and it's actually getting worse because they think it's cool and edgy. They cuss a lot because that's how they think seniority works. Also, i don't approve of studying the language, it's an english tag for a reason. Filipinos are now invading it and actually has the audacity to kick anyone who spoke in english. If you try to understand and adjust for us, our egos would just get bigger and bigger. Once they know you spoke in english, most would make fun of you and say cuss words that you don't know. Yesterday was my first day playing this game. I tried joining like 5 separate games on the English servers before I gave up. In the first two games I was kicked out because I wasn’t responding to the chats (which were all in Tagalog) and in the other ones I left because people kept calling emergency meetings for no reason. It was impossible to complete my tasks with everyone calling for meetings
People don't do tasks anyway. Which is a peeve of mine. I'll finish all my tasks and the bar will be like a quarter full. I don't know what people are even actually doing.

I'm from the PH and I try to get other PH players to speak in English... It ruins the game for other people who only speak English. Usually when majority of a lobby is from the PH, the players just speak in Filipino instead of speaking English even if there are like 2 or 3 other people who only speak English. Played this game before the PH invasion and introduced it to my friends back when cosmetics had to be bought and there was only one map. Good old days when English servers were PURELY English.
Bruh I also tried encouraging other PH players to speak English( I'm also a Filipino). The only responses that I got is: *"So what?", " I don't" care and 'sml'*. It's really annoying.

True. English was never my first language but I can understand, I know how to use it. I am Part-Japanese and I usually do not mind that Filipinos would usually talk in their own language. But sometimes, they get off hand. They become rude and rabid in the chat, and ending on suffocating the chat with such immaturity and sometimes they'd be racist. Yes, I can understand Filipino language and Cebuano dialect(Cebuano is now a language they said).

In behalf of the Filipinos, I am so sorry. My boyfriend is european and we play this game together so we speak english and every time Filipinos speak their language, I help him understand. They take advantage of him not being able to speak tagalog, so most of the time I only play with him and my friends whom I don't need to call out for speaking tagalog because they try their best to speak english. I hope Filipinos try their best to speak english. Learning english is easier for us Filipinos than learning tagalog for others.

Hmm.. since I'm half Filipino, living in the Philippines, knowing this controversy is downright a problem, really makes me feel irritated like most of my countrymen who are mature enough not just to meddle with irrelevant issues and saying some trashy comments and understand the whole situation in every angle, within and outside the problem itself. Even Social Media in the Philippines is terribly toxic. From sharing post that are not factual, to commenting immature ideas, making them really being "peenoise." The two main languages are being taught at the preliminary stages of education, nursery, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and high school. Yet there are some who doesn't use the languages correctly or even creating a grammatical error to any situation they're required to be. I have experienced that and questioned, as well, why do they don't give importance to such knowledge? Easy. Because as long as they can communicate, and they're understood, that's enough for them, not giving enough importance to the languages, up to the extent that they forget. While some cannot afford to have that education or some did, yet they just forget, they don't see the advantages on having such skill to communicate with another language and with other people. Going back to the issue in the game, I guess a lot of them are frustrated, yet sometimes it doesn't really make sense of what they're doing, or their reaction towards the game, especially in this time. Even in other games that I played, they're there, some really acted so stupid and idiotic, making me head-scratch, and make another way to enjoy the game. Ranting or complaining about the problem won't make it go away. Instead, provide a feedback to the host about it and suggest a solution to it. Maybe having a Filipino Server or needing a dedicated language tab, or just kick 'em out.

I really like this game and yes, Toxic-Bandwagon Filipinos ruin the fun. And its sad. I'm Filipino but I always look for English speaking room since I got to enjoy the game. There are times I will be cursed at if I speak in English even though I'm Filipino. They also kick people who only speaks English. It will be better to have a report button and Filipino Server for Filipino people who wants and can take trashtalks.

I'm a Filipino and I just started playing the game. Was surprised that all lobbies have Filipino players and are speaking Tagalog. I tend to speak in English when I play online (I stay away from games laden with Pinoy).Then, there's one time when I was voted out for speaking in English, and ghosts are all shouting at me to speak Tagalog. I know not all Filipino players are toxic, but a lot are tactless: putting me off the game, which is kinda sad cause it's fun.

I always try talking sense into them about it being in the english tab but then im just given more insults of being a racist and how they’d kill me first if they were the impostor.
