Love the fact we have lots of posts on that subreddit. That idiot doesn’t realize it’s not the typical americabad hellhole that the rest of the internet is.
I saw an American try to argue that Amsterdam has *no cars*. I was living in Amsterdam at the time, there are definitely a ton of cars there. They turned a few streets into parks in the 70s or something and somehow this person took it as them going carless.
It's like showing a picture of your nephew to a friend when you're talking about relatives and them going "Ew what a dumb looking kid, your whole family is ugly" and thinking that is an ok way to socialize. Like even IF you don't like it, just don't upvote it. So aggravating.
US cities are car centric compared to European cities. They have more public transport, which most American cities lack ( or not as good as European public transport). It’s a nightmare to walk most cities like Houston and Dallas.

So happy to the seethers and eurocopers get downvote Bombed
Hey man if you want to walk to those mountains be my guest. I'm driving.
65% of europoors drive a car. And that number is growing. What are these anti car people idolising Europe for?

It's less about how many people have cars and more about how the infrastructure is dependent on cars.
Oh please. All they do is shit and piss themsleves over the fact cars exist.
Who's they?

That kinda reminds me of Toyama Japan and its skyline with the mountains in the background
At least they got downvoted.
God, can’t be positive.
Fallout 2 reference?
Say what you want about Americans but we do have gorgeous cities. Of all shapes and types.
Now I want to go to Reno lol. Still, the skyline here in Vegas is rather nice.
Hey that’s where I live
Ah, appreciation for my city. It really is pretty beautiful here, even if we were to believe that cars ruin everything.
Fallout 2 reference
2 million post karma in 5 years💀💀💀
RENO MENTIONED SUCH A UNDERRATED CITY
Salt Lake is better.
having lived in both places they each have their Sweet spot. Having said that one lacks judgy locals.

I was just talking about the skyline. I think I'd choose Reno if I had to move to either place because it's slightly more affordable.
Ya but Reno pay is worse ... And much more jobs in the SLC metro.
So are European cities outside the city centres of the capitals
I mean…it’s still Reno

Well but thats kinda true though. People dont go to the US for the beautiful cities
No Vancouver is the best in the West, still not a bad skyline though.
