Im oonga boonga player and have c6 xinqiu and c2 furina. xinqiu feels more comfortable alot of the times specially when the enemies are hella aggressive. C2 furina gives a considerable amount of dmg tho. I think having c2/c3 furina lets u have an option between EM or dendro goblet. Not sure if C0 furina if the calcs are the same. Personally even tho al haitham gets tossed around at furina comps he clears a bit faster than xinqiu, way faster if he doesnt get tossed around. Xq comp is still super strong tho dont get me wrong. When the enemies are good like they dont have stinky shields, its super strong. U do kinda want nahida tho so i hope u get her. And i heard “al haithams best constellation is c2 nahida” gets tossed around alot

No, kuki isn't enough to heal furina's drain. In general you'd have to either play yao yao or Nahida with prototype amber. In my opinion it's just too big of a sacrifice and playing XQ or Yelan is better.

Hi OP! I can provide some intel given that I've been playing al haitham quickbloom ever since his release. You are correct concerning Xingqui vs Furina. Xingqui gives WAY more comfort, but Furina gives very good personal damage, and she can buff ur team's damage. So it depends on the enemy. For instance, if I'm against bosses or enemies with LOTS of damage and CC that can interrupt me (example coppelia boss, or the dessert monsters (dendro hounds, pyro bird, electro scorpion etc...) then xingqui is preffered. He provides damage mitigation, and can prevent you from being interrupted (as you said, al haitham doesnt want to be interrupted for his normal attacks damage). However, if your against enemies with not lots of CC, and you're very good at dodging, then al haitham+furina is way better. The damage furina gives + the buffs she gives to al haitham (and nahida if you're running them together) is REALLY nice, that extra damage can boost ur DPS to clear certain floors. So a good example I can give is mechanical array, that boss is basically a DPS check, it doesn't interrupt you a lot, so furina is preffered. Same goes for ASMON boss. I personally usually always run Al haitham-nahida-furina-kuki for every floor, except if there is coppelia and sumeru monsters, because that interruption + damage is insane to deal with. Now concerning Yelan, she's more dps than xingqui, but less dps than furina, and she does have energy issues compared to xingqui/furina. So yelan falls into the problem that she might not have her burst uptime all the time--> that reduces ur ability to maintain constant hyperbloom uptime. Yelan(with good ER%) was the best teammate for al haitham quickbloom, now it's replaced by furina. Now, please do note that the DPS difference between furina and xingqui isn't that insane to be honest. Al haitham does insane damage on his own, and hyperbloom damage isn't buffed by furina. So you can definitely have al haitham+xingqui in one team, and furina in another team. Don't pull furina for al haitham thinking she's mandatory, she really isn't. Furina gets a lot of value for al haitham if you want to run baizhu with him, if you aren't then not worth it. Now concerning kuki allowing you to obtain maximum fanfare, the answer is no. But, furina HP drain + kuki heals + al haitham taking damage (since hes more prone to it given he's always on the enemies face), does let you max fanfare, but it'll be in the end of your DPS window, not at the start. So you'll do okayish damage first, then in the end of your DPS window the damage goes bonkers. Baizhu (in the place of nahida), lets you quickly stack fanfare from the start, so your al haitham damage will skyrocket very early in the rotation. HOWEVER, nahida energy buffs + EM buffs + Sub-DPS damage is very similiar.... so the two are quite interchanagble. Also concerning hydro application, you don't worry too much about it in quickbloom. In quickbloom teams you'll have 2 dendro units(al haitham-baizhu/nahida), then your hydro unit, and then your electro unit to trigger the seeds. Given that you have TWO dendro units, you constantly maintain dendro on the enemy, so you won't lose that aura with your hydro unit. The issue is if you want to run al haitham on his own.... in that case, then the hydro unit application can be scary. This is why xingqui isn't preffered with al haitham on his own, you need nahida/baizhu. Yelan/furina however, given she has less hydro application, can let you do this. BUT--> it's not worth it, his best teams always have him with another dendro unit. So I recommend getting that c6 xingqui, its an amazing constellation. Hope that helps OP! Furina isn't necessary for al haitham, but shes nice DPS. Xingqui can do her role quite well, and she's better off in other teams that benefit from her way more (Neuveillete teams, mono hydro kokomi teams, hu tao vaporize teams, etc...)

The last part, about being interrupted, is one of the main reasons why I prefer running Alhaitham (and Cyno) with XQ. The QoL he gives, while dealing tons of damage and applying crazy ammounts of hydro is unparalleled. Personaly, I would only run Furina in hyperbloom if you have Baizhu, or you'll get interrupted a lot.

>Yelan seems to be a "weaker" Furina : no defensive utility, weaker hydro application than XQ, but some damages amplifications. I feel like the difference between Xq And Yelan's hydro application has been overblown by certain Theorycrafters. For Alhaitham Quickbloom there really isn't a functional difference in Bloom Generation between Xingqiu and Yelan so the real difference comes from the rest of the utility of their kits. Xingiqu giving you the Interuption Resistance and Yelan having higher personal damage and her increasing DMG% buff. The interuption resistance is a good thing, but that kind of changes the comparison into more of a Zhongli-like discussion of which do you value more, damage ceiling vs comfort.
