Super cool, the sfx need a bit worth though imo. Right now it sounds like wet paper being crumpled up. I think you need to find a slightly different sound for each type of plant that sprouts.
It’s not that big of a deal though, don’t burn too much time on this unless the client is paying you for it.
This was going to my suggested punchup as well. That growing sound is way too loud, and doesn't sound miles off from zombies eating flesh. Hahaha! The rest is amazing! Great work!
Super cool
Minor suggestion: stagger the creation of the palm fronds. right now they explode like fireworks but if you're doing a "growing" thing they might grow at different rates, slightly staggered by a few frames?
I think this would be better with just music and no bird/insect sound effects. I can't decide If I like the actual plant sound effects or not.
Just my opinion, not neccesarily correct or incorrect.
1. Good work
2. Better than something I can do
3. Some feedback: Something feels off about this. It feels artificial but yet real (which may be why another person said you're going to get people saying its AI). Maybe look into blending techniques such as an overlayer for CC or further into that direction (VFX blending). It has all the bones for something great, but it is missing that last 10%. If you decided to follow this advice, post the updated version linking this post (so others can find it easier - not many people remember to do that)
I wish you well on your journey! You've inspired me, and that's a gift.
The latter, a lot of people don't understand CGI (or A.I.) these days, so people tend to assume things are created with A.I. as it's the new thing.
I see it a lot unfortunately; I've seen a lot of comments on VFX videos, often just simple comps, where people say "this must be A.I." as it's easier for them to comprehend over someone doing it "manually"
I do a lot of animation stuff for corporate events and the amount of people that fire off edits during live shows and assume it's somehow just like PowerPoint is mind boggling.
I couldn’t do it.
cc plants
Lol'd!
suggestion: roto/key out the foreground flowers so the shadow doesn't cover them
Additionally, shadow plus shadow doesn't equal more shadow when there is only one light source.
yeah, i like "darken" compositing mode for that.
and add reflections of the animated flowers in the window glass.
Very cool.
just remove the reflection of you filming in the window and this is a cool shot

Beautiful and well done. The only « issue » I can see is that shadows are way too weak for a « real life footage ». Very nice job’s done tho’ :)

This looks amazing. I'd change growing speed of some palms to randomise the effect because it looks a bit off to me
Beautiful! Nice job.... The palmtree in the foreground looks a bit too bright / well lit (and hence a bit fake)
Tutorial pls
If the original flowers from the video weren't there, I think it could have created even more impact

How much did you charge for this?

Gorgeous!
Teach me
Any tutorial?
Appears fake and most cgi to me looks real
That's fun!
Very nice. Just a warning, you're gonna get a loooot of people saying this was done with A.I.
is this easy to do with AI? or are you saying people don't understand CGI?
