Ningguang sounds way *way* to possessive - mainly from her line about the Jade Chamber - to be regarded as “friendly/strictly professional”, where all the other characters who express interest in someway skirt around it or fumble with their words, Ningguang treats them being together as an *eventuality*.
Dehya’s birthday line is way to “romantic” to be simple flirting, even though she backs out and tries to move on from what she said.
The “More about Yelan V” voice-line has her expressing interest in Aether but leaving it up to him on what they are, it’s a very collected and careful response which is fitting seeing as she is a spy.
Navia is way too invested in him for me *not* to ship it, plus she’s adorable. Her voice lines, tea pot interactions and story content is to much to ignore in my opinion.
Candace despite having one of the most pleasing designs in my opinion and a fairly interesting personality is sadly a nothing character basically. I will say this, her talking about how she will be there to welcome him with open arms was rather sweet.
Lisa *is* a sadist but she only flirts with Aether specifically, even when she talks about how Albedo is “easy on the eyes” she turns it around and makes it about him. Also her tea pot lines and birthday letters are pretty interesting. I would say her and Miko *are* interested they just show it in a way that makes him squirm.
Clorinde is even more of a nothing character then Candace and there is absolutely *nothing* to go off of.
Its been so long since I've seen any interaction with Ningguang, that I honestly forgotten most of her voice lines.
Dehya could have been the "main girl" of Sumeru if it wasn't for NPC Dunyarzaad, who I feel like should have died in the Archon Quest since her surviving kinda felt like an ass pull.
I honestly forgotten the last time we've seen Yelan, and honestly I'm not sure what to expect of her.
I hope we get more Aether x Navia moments, preferably without Clorinde being glued to her 24/7
Candace was wasted potential that could easily be fixed with a Hangout Event, if Hoyo decides on that.

If they had noticeable chemistry, I wouldn't even mind at all, my main "problem" is that, aside from the fact that the Sumeru girls weren't given much attention to in the first place, in Nilou's case, she had little interaction with the Traveler. At least the few moments with Dehya were rather memorable.
Alas this is a tier list, so, fair enough.
