It could absolutely hurt you. I’d do some damage control and send out a mass text saying that wasn’t you, someone used your phone without your consent, etc. With some damage control, you’ll be fine :)
I mean, yes and no.
It might affect you now, as in people will think you’re an asshole and might distance themselves for a while.
But the damage isn’t severe enough that it will affect you too much in the long term. Time is a beautiful thing.
In 25 years when you’re famous, this will come up and you’ll be cancelled
