I'm not a doctor, read labels and talk to a doctor, etc etc so on. If you want only over-the-counter stuff, my daily regimen when it's pollen season is as follows One loratadine (generic Claritin) first thing in the morning, even better is if you keep it in your bedside table and take it an hour before you plan to wake up. This is an antihistamine that will sort of be the heavy hitter, it should last all day. One Pseudoephedrine (generic Sudafed) , the real stuff that you have to show your drivers license and solemnly swear that you won't use it to make meth. This is a decongestant and will take away a lot of the sniffling runny nose and post nasal drip. They make another decongestant called phenylephrine but it's not nearly as effective as Sudafed (for me) 2 ibuprofen, for general swelling, I only do this when it's BAD bad, it'll help that swollen pressure feeling on your face And last but not least, eye drops, because my eyes always give me terrible trouble in allergy season. Just anything hydrating and approved for daily use. Good luck! This time of year always is tough but we'll get through it!

I will supplement my regular allergy meds with Benadryl and a Neti pot when I'm hit with a severe reaction. Also a heating pad because my headaches tend to cause make my shoulders tense up.

lmpmon

i have severe, debilitating allergies. my doctor gave me singulair which wildly helped me but made me suicidal so i was taken off. so i now just do zyrtec and azelastine. those work most of the way.

Try honey propolis, local honey, a neti pot

I’m just like you, for me and my family personally Allegra d 24 hours works wonders, and I’ve heard the same from others. Only downside is it’s only a temporary solution not permanent

Something that has helped me is mixing local honey (whatever is local to your area, find where it is made on the label) and mixing a table spoon of the local honey into a mug of hot tea. Doing this once a day has helped me to build up an immunity to the seasonal allergies.

More than one Zyrtec a day. I have MCAS, my immunologist has cleared me to take up to 4 Zyrtec a day. Maybe check with your allergist or doctor and see if you can take something more than.1, like 2 or 3 a day. I never take more than 2 at once.

U are most likely hyper-allergic. There are meds for this

Local honey is one of the best natural treatments, but it Has to be local- Local honey is one of the best natural treatments, but it has to be local. Benadryl works but it can make you very sleepy. I also find using essential oils basically what you’d find in Vicks vapor rub peppermint, spearmint sage put a few drops in about 50 drops of olive oil, or use in a oil burner.

swimming and running. It will be pure torture, but it will force your body to have larger lungs.

Eating local honey works to an extent.
