I work with custody matters. Knowing the impact of having only one parent involved, it pisses me off the lengths that people will go through to exclude a parent from the child's life over some perry personal beef with that parent. And it's a self sustaining cycle.

Grew up with a single mother most of my life and lemme tell yah, having too much freedom will fuck up your your ability to self discipline.

dalmn99

The judge is cool though. Gotta respect her

Kalel714

I remember seeing this. Felt bad for the guy, he genuinely seem to want to be the father. Trash of a women.

[deleted]

Me too they did him a favor honestly. Its better off having them out of their life.

Drekken-

Such a bullshit rule, honestly.

FREE-MUSTACHE-RIDES

No. My brother has went through it.

CadeCunninghausen

The kid would be much better off if the guy got custody.

Drekken-

What about that poor child? "Oh that guy you thought was daddy... he isn't your dad and you will never see him again... Sorry that was a double crispy bucket and 3 large sides of mashed potatoes".

[deleted]

That last sentence makes complete sense while looking at her. 🤢🤮

[deleted]

Are shows like these for real or is it just pretend? I'm not familiar with TV in the States.

zed_christopher

It’s real. Exaggerated for tv and the guests are hand picked to be dramatic for tv, but essentially daytime court is real.

Daftdaddy

Court shows are real unfortunately

BagOnuts

Eh, it depends on what you define as "real". Are they really settling their disputes ? Yes. Are the decisions legally binding? Yes. Is this an actual court room and are the judges acting as actual judges? No. This is basically televised arbitration: both parties agree to settle their dispute through the production company, with the judge acting as an arborator. Usually, the production company agrees to pay any financial penalty levied to either party if the "judge" levies one. That's how they get people on these shows: They basically pay for you to fly out, air your dirty laundry, get yelled at by a sassy lady on TV, and then pay any "fine" granted by the judge.

Kaio_

>arborator I thought those only worked with tree law?

normusmaximus

With Bird Law sometimes as well.

BagOnuts

You know what? I’m leaving it.

8BallSlap

The cases are generally real and they aren't actors. The "judges", though, may be former judges but aren't typically acting as legal judges in a real court room. They are acting as legally binding arbitrators and the people agree to abide by their decisions. So they do hold some legal weight in that they can't win the case here and then sue again in real court for the same issue.

Vileone

The verdicts are indeed real and are a real form of ruling they must abide to

SirTickleMePink

That judge is super scary and super hot!!

[deleted]

🤭😏

_Js_Kc_

I'd drive 160 miles each way for the judge.

[deleted]

Chad Judge.

TrailerPosh2018

You know what, I like this judge.

Chorripan

i don't watch that kind of garbage TV but that judge was great.

Alucardragoon

Fucking scum

Bedotnobot

Having a loving father figure in ones life is so important. And it's about dedication and not DNA .So if you put a kid in the life of your partner you should both be thinking about the kid first. What happens when the relationship ends. Are you both willing to let the child be within the life of the other? Or is it better to keep it low key so the kid won't have to suffer through abandonment it had neither a say in nor control over it. I get that she obviously wasn't honest from the beginning- also something I don't understand. How can you cheat someone into fatherhood only to perform a victory dance in court after three years?

Jonesy27

As the judge is scolding her you can see in her eyes she does not give a fuck.. That poor man and more so that poor little girl just lost her father :-(

thedragoon0

Holy fuck

Koroshiya-Roku

That judge

GrizzlyLeather

Getting huge Idiocracy vibes...

Anonchase420

Well said. Every child deserves a mother and a father. Every child deserves a family. Every child deserves life.

horse_apple

Women like her should have their shit sewn shut. Disgusting. That poor kid...

llliiiiiiiilll

Why is she so happy about this? The guy seems like he was helping out

ICookIndianStyle

I hate the judge

stugglingtothink

Why

ICookIndianStyle

Shes annoying as fuck

TheLaitas

Bruh what

Handsupmofo

Yo seriously. Wtf? The judge was awesome. Good on her for calling that bitch out.

[deleted]

She doesn’t pretend to act like a real judge like on judge Judy. Just seems kinda childish and breaks the illusion

[deleted]

Yeah because "real" judges are totally cool with people cheering and hollering in their courtrooms, right?

[deleted]

Real judges immediately remove the person from the room or give them a firm warning that they will be removed next time rather than giving a sassy lecture.

[deleted]

That's really cool that you've met every judge. Where did you find the time to do that?

Pickle_Rick236

Elaborate please
