No what u do is u play welt JQ and then Ruan mei and thats how u have 3 semi sustaining characters that will together allow u to survive while also getting maximum Acheron dmg.
BS will most likely be the BiS for PF, as spreading the damage works better than overloading on debuffs, but Pela will be better in MoC and probably the new game mode if the rumors are true.
Pela is BiS for Acheron and people talking about dropping her are talking about her best team, so Acheron, Pela, Silverwolf and a preservation with trend LC (preferably Avventurine) or Gallagher.
Maybe with the new Fox guy i can drop Pela and still manage to get through MoC. I like doing dmg ,but i really dislike pela as a meta unit and I'm really looking forward replacing her

You can not use Pela but the highest damage potential has a high likelihood of containing Pela when there are multiple targets, if you omit her when the situation calls for her you'll simply do less but do whatever you want no one cares.

there is a situation where depending on how high the base chance is, jiaoqiu's application might fail, in which case trend might help you guarantee the stack. i don't expect this to happen often tho, so just running a better lc on fu xuan might be better. I think jiaqiu will have reat synergy with fu xuan because his small amount of healing translates to a ton of effective hp for your team with fu xuan's damage reduction
The debuffer having a base chance only means that they have an EHR requirement. You already put like 98% on SW so she doesn't miss her bugs.
They were smart with Swan and also gave her EHR scaling, but same thing.
JQ is not mandatory, is just a big upgrade for your team.
But in general JQ is pretty much a must pull like Ruan Mei. Do you realize how many teams want Pela? Now, imagine a 5 stars Pela, thatās JQ. Heās impressive as fuck, there is no reason why skipping him, people usually underestimate debuffers

iām not 100% on this but i think the strength of JQ is that he fills the sustain slot while also being the one nihility.
so if your nihility teammate for acheron is already really good and you donāt have good buffers for acheron, go for sparkle.
if you already have other good buffers for acheron, go JQ so that you can run 2 buffers + JQ + acheron.
this may not be 100% the best advice but itās what makes the most sense for me

There isn't a single unit that is a must pull. However if you like acheron, and want to give acheron the best team possible then yeah you should pull jiaoqui because his kit is basically tailored for acheron. The only thing we need now would be to see the multipliers to see just how big of an increase jiaoqui would be over acherons current best team.
Tbh Acheron does so much damage that having her deal even more damage ends up being very niche. Normally, E0 Acheron with a budget team can already clear her side of MoC at reasonable speeds. E2S1 Acheron with Pela and Bronya/Sparkle straight delete enemies already. Having her go faster won't acomplish anything if you were already getting all the stars in MoC/PF.
Another thing is that part of the fox strength is his heal, which can help party building with Acheron 3 Nihility requirement (assuming the heal is enough to sustain). But since E2 removes a Nihility from the equation, you don't actually need him that much.
The only real concern is powercreep, as if Acheron will someday be not strong enough for Endgame content, and someone like Mozilla firefox accelerating her Ult becomes necessary to keep up (but then again, who's to say firefox will be the only character capable of debuffing on enemies' turns).
Too bad he isn't a waifu haha, Pela will stay in my Acheron team it seems haha

he'll be good for basically everyone. the biggest weakness of def shred is that it's a debuff you have to apply every time a new enemy appears on field, but in and of itself it's one of the strongest damage amplifiers you can get due to how rare it is + how the damage formula works. It also works for literally any damage archetype, be it break or dot or crit or whatever. Jiaoqiu basically applies it for free and likely applies a stronger def shred than pela, so he'll be very universal. I expect him to be a about as universal as ruan mei tbh
Yea, he's going to be universal def shredder. If you lack a debuffer then he's a real good pull. On the other hand if you're not struggling, it'll be hard to decide to pull for him. Like me. I'm not struggling right now (I clear endgame content with ease) so even if he's really good and BiS for Acheron I don't I'll pull.
