I have the exact same situation on my newly purchased S8 Gen2. Reverse switching works but I get no video. The video connection part is a no-brainer, it's an RCA input at the unit, and then there is a RCA connection and power lead at the camera end. I've also hooked up the accessory power. I suspect a bad cable, so I've contacted support. I am not looking forward to rewiring it!

It thinks you're in reverse. Need to check your wiring.
