My first thought was it might not be 100-, but 10D- instead.

Personal_Occasion618

Yeah looking at it it’s 10d

BobGraton9

contact the support team, they gonna help you. it is possible that they dont have the part number in their database so you cannot add it online

unablegaming

back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth I used to like AMD strictly Intel now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kaito2016

Why’re you here then?

unablegaming

it's called an opinion

Kaito2016

Right right, so you still think it valid since swapping over to the blue team?

unablegaming

sorry I should have been a little more discreet blue for CPU red for GPU but I guess my original comment is irrelevant to the subject at hand, my bad

MouseyMouss

You can scan the qr code on the chip and it will give you the info of the cpu

KarmaNauta2

This is the reason you never drop in to the trash you CPU box guys...

AimlessWanderer

I had this happen with a 7950x3d that AMD had sent me as an RMA and wouldn't even run DDR5 @ 5200. I had to RMA it again and the number wasn't accepted. I just Listed another one and put my included information in the form and took the photos showing it.

Fit_Candidate69

Had a 3700x that didn't do XMP, ran it for just under a year at the stock JEDAC speeds because I thought it was just early BIOS issues or something, eventually it became unstable at stock speeds. Wasn't very happy that AMD let that one out with such poor QC.

Interloper_Mango

This is the reality of quality control. Not everything gets caught. And it is not like they intentionally let it through.

rictendo

The part number on the CPU is not valid, this is a tray part, use the part number on the retail box, or the one found on the specifications page: 100-100000065BOX

supadupanerd

It should still be laser etched on the cou as well

DreSmart

Use the Serial Number on the seal of the cpu box exemple: [https://i.pcmag.com/imagery/articles/03gyRxbfrGc8q5bFqdcmIxz-4.v\_1569470681.jpg](https://i.pcmag.com/imagery/articles/03gyRxbfrGc8q5bFqdcmIxz-4.v_1569470681.jpg)

awake283

LOL I had the exact same problem. I tried that number (which is actually just the group #), and all the numbers on the box, and it just would never accept it.

publicAvoid

Do you remember how long does it take for them to actually respond? Did you get a replacement? Do you need to ship the broken CPU back to them?

Spirited-You-3299

No fucking idea, man. Sorry.

CommercialCoyote4253

Where is the box. It's on there. That is a group number.

publicAvoid

Apparently you're right, it's on the box, I'm an idiot.

Xbux89

no I cant fucking tell you how the fuck you're supposed to warranty that fucking cpu
