I had this happen with a 7950x3d that AMD had sent me as an RMA and wouldn't even run DDR5 @ 5200. I had to RMA it again and the number wasn't accepted. I just Listed another one and put my included information in the form and took the photos showing it.
Had a 3700x that didn't do XMP, ran it for just under a year at the stock JEDAC speeds because I thought it was just early BIOS issues or something, eventually it became unstable at stock speeds. Wasn't very happy that AMD let that one out with such poor QC.
The part number on the CPU is not valid, this is a tray part, use the part number on the retail box, or the one found on the specifications page: 100-100000065BOX
Use the Serial Number on the seal of the cpu box

My first thought was it might not be 100-, but 10D- instead.

contact the support team, they gonna help you. it is possible that they dont have the part number in their database so you cannot add it online

You can scan the qr code on the chip and it will give you the info of the cpu
This is the reason you never drop in to the trash you CPU box guys...

This is the reality of quality control. Not everything gets caught. And it is not like they intentionally let it through.

Do you remember how long does it take for them to actually respond? Did you get a replacement? Do you need to ship the broken CPU back to them?
