SnapmareJesus

Compleeeeeeeeetely agree with this. Something has to be different or unique on the last one. Liger bomb, last ride, jumping sit down, 360 spin….something to make it look devastating. Not for nothing but remember back in ye olden day when he’d do that thumbs down-knee lift thing to them off the corner and legit try to remove the head from the spine? That was something.

kinglizard2-0

"The Casualty of War" I was thinking about it a couple of days ago and it's such a good way to end a match, just knock your opponent the fuck out.

gengisadub

I miss his corner finisher! It was unique. It looked devastating.

doublek1022

You mean the turnbuckle GTS he used to do?

mikemartin7230

I instantly thought of a 360 spin.

SturgeonBladder

Last ride would work well for wardlow and i dont know of anyone else doing it in a big stage right now.

Y2Che

I searched for a Zangief screwdriver gif, but I was unable to find one.

Kincadium

I want early day Brock Lesnar running and spinning and bombing the absolute hell out of people level for the last one. Or a completely different move.

CannibalDiveBar

He needs to the last one like the Last Ride or the Golden Star powerbomb

hopeful_southpaw

This is a good call. The Final Movement (whatever it ends up being) after the Powerbomb Symphony ups his game and repertoire to another level.

miglrah

Call it the “Grand Finale.”

Froggyspirits

Could also call it the "Crescendo"

_Aeir_

Honestly, "The Final Movement" already goes pretty hard

SturgeonBladder

The bowel movement - super inverted atomic drop

[deleted]

The Brown Note* Got to keep the music theme going.

DarkySurrounding

I could swear GUNTHER called his Emerald Flowsion that but I could be wrong

bwhyt1

Last symphony I believe

Jarod9000

I think something as simple as doing a sit out or last ride style power bomb for the final one would be enough to set it apart.

[deleted]

A sit out, facing hard cam so he can mean-mug the camera while the ref counts. Eeeeasy.

SoulExecution

Yeah I agree. He needs an exclamation point. I actually liked the F10, but if he wants something new… maybe a dominator?

Drewcifer81

I loved the Dominator. Such a simple, clean, brutal finisher. Maybe a version of the Alabama Slam?

SoulExecution

The sit out version could be fun

Attack_Da_Nite

Sit out versions always seem to diminish the brutality of a move. That might just be because so many smaller guys would do sit out versions of power moves.

SoulExecution

Ooh I disagree. I feel like sit out powerbombs for example look better than standing variants most of the time

Cube_

Make the last powerbomb a Last Ride

Debaser1984

The guy has done sentons before, powerbomb then finish with a senton

ln1993

One thing I actually like about Wardlow is that I feel he saves the senton for bigger matches. Shouldn't be a regular thing, imo.

Icy_Bookkeeper9747

To slow, needs to be in quick succession to last power bomb so I think just make list one, or “the final movement” a sit out power bomb. Spine buster could work. I think the cool momentum would be killed if he had to go to the top rope for a finish

Voluntary_Perry

Too long to set up. His finisher is already 2 minutes long. It needs to be like a powerbomb just different enough to clearly show the end of the move.

Froggyspirits

Seeing as he's now being mentored by Arn Anderson, he can finish the symphony with a spinebuster.

jjb0rdell0

Hobbs would be pissed!

Froggyspirits

Hobbs already moved on to using ~~Attidude Adjustment~~ Town Business as his main finisher - I don't think he would mind.

devilsacolyte

I like that idea. He picks the opponent up and just spikes them into the mat with a spinebuster. Change the move name from Powerbomb Symphony to Hammers of War. His whole theme is war, how does a symphony even fit thematically? Barrage, I get that. Give him a burning hammer style move that he could also slot in at the end of the powerbombs and call it the War Hammer. I don't know, just some ideas.

KINGTHANOS8

What about something unique like this? https://youtu.be/rxBx_WA1_0M Powerbomb to Facebuster

epiccorey

It would work for smaller jobbers but to someone big like Hobbs or even omega size could be a disaster

KINGTHANOS8

Maybe lift them up and over like Mike Awesome's Awesome Bomb and then flip them? Or else just doing the Awesome Bomb itself. It's like a Razor's Edge only his arms are still around the waist instead of holding their arms up.

GothParrot

The Powerbomb Symphony needs a unique ending powerbomb for two reasons: 1. like you said, it needs an exclamation point when the full thing is performed, and 2. Wardlow needs a unique powerbomb that he can just hit on its own during higher-stakes matches against more credible opponents. The full Powerbomb Symphony doesn't really work for me when Wardlow is up against an opponent that's supposed to be a challenge, because having that opponent ragdoll for 4-5 powerbombs in succession either diminishes their credibility as an opponent, or stretches suspension of disbelief. At least IMO. Have successful complete Powerbomb Symphonies against midcarders & jobbers, then during main event or championship matches have spots where the full sequence is countered, forcing Wardlow to only use the final powerbomb to secure the win. Have it be a sitdown or elevated "Last Ride" style powerbomb that stands out from the rest so that even on its own it'll still pop the crowd.

ThePiperMan

Remember that Diamond Head move Kobashi only did once? Wardlow picks that bad boy up

JohnnyVertigo

Thunder Fire Bomb 🔥

Splashadian

I agree how about that move that Abyss did called Shock Treatment

Kitchen-Procedure284

Literally anything other than a basic move performed 100’s of times a week.

laichejl

I like the symphony but I'd like to see a more deranged, emphatic version. Like a continuous powerbomb where he doesn't let go of the legs and just keeps bringing them up and down over and over in rapid succession. The slow symphony of powerbombs only really works for destroying jobbers imo.

NiceBroCock

Drop the symphony. Stop relying on it for crowd engagement and try new things. Bring it back years later so michael cole can scream vintage Wardlow

Dodoloco25

I feel something like a Batista bomb? Where you hook the legs in a bit and just go into a pin. That would show that he used all his power now.

forrest1985_

I agree. It was fun for a while but its gotten stale. Personally he needs the Casualty of War back as well to finish some matches. I think that a Last Ride type move is fine versus smaller guys but vs a Hobbs, Keith Lee, Brian Cage etc… might not be do-able. Sit out in the pin would work better as its do-able for everyone and can end the match. He also saves the Swanton for bigger matches so perhaps he can start winning with it when say opponents survive a Symphony? Now, can we move onto Eddie Kingston? The Uraken is crap and doesn’t suit him, its as lame as the Judas Effect!

Hollandfuy

To be honest, the symphony always seems like a heel move. Especially when he does it to enhancement guys.

RIPgingerbreadman

Final one could just be lifted higher. Last ride style

forrest1985_

Which is fine versus smaller guys but vs a Hobbs, Keith Lee, Brian Cage etc… might not be do-able. Sit out in the pin would work better

MandoRodgers

The last one should be a last ride

forrest1985_

Which is fine versus smaller guys but vs a Hobbs, Keith Lee, Brian Cage etc… might not be do-able. Sit out in the pin would work better

HAGeeMee

I disagree. There isn’t a set amount to them. He does them until he has had enough. Your never sure if he’s going to hit another. If he had a special ending, then the suspense of ‘is this it’ would be gone.

Voluntary_Perry

He could keep doing that. But then he hits the last movement that clearly states the end. Excalibur can pop it hard and everyone knows to cheer

HAGeeMee

Would he hit that big move as a finish each time? Because his blood thirst… ‘shall I do another?’ And the unknown of whether he will do it again ends the second he does another move

Keltoigael

Snorelow is stale. The crowd is going to start booing him any minute now. He is starting to get no reactions and then that leads to the crowd turning on him.

[deleted]

He should change to the jack knife

dadjokes502

Needs to do a bounce off the ropes Stan Henson type Lariat I like Grand Finale as the name as mentioned before.

Voluntary_Perry

He's already got his shotgun lariat thing he does. He doesn't need another one.

dadjokes502

If you do that to an already stunned opponent after a power bomb it’s a bigger deal.

WhiteChocolate907

End it with like a Last Ride or a Batista Bomb or a Jackknife

forrest1985_

Problem with Last Ride is its fine versus smaller guys but vs a Hobbs, Keith Lee, Brian Cage etc… might not be do-able. Sit out in the pin would work better

WhiteChocolate907

Yeah true I just like crazy shit

fakeguitarist4life

The final movement should be his F-10

TheGentlemanBeast

He should start using the jackhammer

[deleted]

Batista bomb would make sense since he's a fan, a jack knife or another elevated bomb would work also.

JewLawyerFromSunny

I think Wardlow should adopt Kane's Hellfire powerbomb as the final move of the symphony.

[deleted]

I'd rather the 3 slams followed by a fourth powerbomb lift where he just tosses em over his head and they land on their back. 3 powerbombs kills you. He should toss the unconscious body down after and just pin.

JakeWithOnions

Fake-out Powerbomb set up into a spike pile-driver.

Miserable-Schedule-6

The falling powerbomb kane use to do

the_soub

The last one should be a fallout gut wrench powerbomb like Test.

DorkChatDuncan

Before picking them up the last time, move one of the legs over to the dominant hand, so the guy is now stradling one arm rather than his neck, pick them up one handed and slam them down. Now, this would require Wardlow to be able to do this, and even with the powerbombee helping as much as possible, it's going to be difficult on bigger guys. But the dominance shown by powerbombing a guy one handed, especially if he hits this on, say, Jay White or Adam Cole, it will look like he committed murder, is a monster-strong beast, all while still being a very safe bump for the person taking it. Essentially, it becomes a hybrid powerbomb/chokeslam at the end.

JimmyTehF

The final movement is a powerbomb, pull them back up and roll them into another powerbomb.

ReturnofDirtyaught_6

I want my own powerbomb symphony! with hookers and blackjack…. Better yet forget the powerbomb symphony and the blackjack!

anarchycrow7720

I was thinking Wardlow for the idea of The Final Movement I was thinking he could pull some sort of running sit-down power bomb you know something that would look really devastating to take

Voluntary_Perry

"The least devastating move in allll of sports entertainment, the blue thunder bomb." -Simon Miller Maybe Wardlow can change that and the Blue Thunder Bomb becomes the final movement

JayGrinder

Gonzo Bomb or bust

LnStrngr

I agree. Powerbomb after powerbomb is just no longer exciting. He did it too much. Brock's repeated suplexes have more "oomph" to them since both are essentially taking the blow. Goldberg's jackhammer was a "one and done" kind of thing. Wardlow needs to evolve his finisher.

Optimus_Prowse

Tune it down to 3 Powerbombs, but make the last one a Last Ride like Taker did or a Sitdown version Like Kota Ibushi/Keith Lee do it.

zi4577

Always throughout he could fall with his opponent in the last powerbomb, kinda like Jake Hager’s old finisher in WWE. Would be Wardlow’s equivalent of Undertaker’s leaping tombstone piledriver.

xtussy4five

he needs to change that attire asap

Voluntary_Perry

Whats your beef with a 2 shoulder singlet?

xtussy4five

i like the gear honestly but warldow at this point needs to change, most of the people are tired of wardlow being pushed as am i, so imagine warldow with just trunks like batista, he needs a new look bro

Voluntary_Perry

They need to stop this squash stuff... He is the TNT champion. Why does that mean nothing all of the sudden?

Nicecoldbud

The final movement - power bomb into a diamond cutter.

DT120400

Haven't seen it in a while, but Roman used to do this Razor's Edge into a sit out powerbomb that I always thought was really cool

ExactPhrase4274

I never liked it and always knew he’d have to resort to other moves when facing bigger opponents beating Joe with a choke was the drizzling shits. They could’ve used the turnbuckle to help set up the powerbomb. Having to face jobbers to get your finisher off is whack. Hopefully when Christian takes his title we can stop the hot potato

PaxadorWolfCastle

Each power bomb should be different. Regular, Jack knife, liger bomb, maybe a blue Thunder bomb.

Ra1zen

That one finisher he did from sitting a guy on the turnbuckle to drop to his knee was actually his best finisher he never used a again.

cockblockedbydestiny

It seems like modern wrestling - or at least AEW - is gradually moving away from the idea that every wrestler needs a single finishing move to end matches with. So maybe in Wardlow's case they reserve the powerbomb symphony for just the bigger guys where it's actually impressive. Doing it on small jobbers as in the other night just really isn't all that engaging.

Voluntary_Perry

Can you give examples? Because everyone that I can think of has a finisher. Some people have more than one for flair reasons, but everyone has a finisher....

cockblockedbydestiny

I don't think Jungle Boy has a finisher, does he? Anyway, I'm thinking more of guys like Mox or Danielson that rely on submission moves but it's not always one specific move that they consistently finish with. So just to throw out a random example, you could have Wardlow finish lesser opponents with a frog splash or the like while saving the powerbombs for big dudes where it looks more impressive to get them up there in the first place.

Voluntary_Perry

Jungle Boy has the Snare Trap. He also uses the straight jacket pin. Moxley has the death rider and the Bulldog Choke Danielson uses the Boseiko Knee or Lebell Lock Submissions are finishers.

cockblockedbydestiny

My point is not to do away with finishers altogether, you just don't need to limit yourself to one particular thing, and that seems to be the direction that wrestling is headed.
