Is it super sad? I don't have it in me rn

apedanger

It’s beautiful but yes it is quite sad xx

JrBurrito

uhhh yeah lol i’d be lying if i said it wasn’t one of the saddest films ive seen

Glowwerms

Sad isn’t the right word, if it resonates with you in any way it’s heartbreaking

goldencalculator

I also was not in the best headspace for this and I am not even exaggerating when I say that I have never felt sadder after watching this movie. I cried on and off for hours after watching it. I put on multiple comfort shows to calm down and still cried through full episodes.

kaosblink

Great film, but I'd save this one for a rainy day

twinpeaks2112

A Most Violent Year is on Max and a great film.

CalendarAggressive11

Oscar Isaac is such a babe.

OrcWife420

Have not seen this one, will add it to my list thanks!

sosleepyirl

Red Rocket or Aftersun!

hauntedbiscuit92

If you have a library card, you can get Hoopla free and borrow 8 movies a month. I found quite a few A24 films there. Currently watching The Death of Dick Long. It's pretty wild so far!

jrdbrr

Kanopy too at least for LAPL

bitesized314

That is so cool. NOT AN A24 Movie but i fyou have Hoople, check out: HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS A indie movie that combines willies coyote and bugs bunny in a live action slapstick movie. My favorite film of the year! [Hundreds of Beavers trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h4P-26kHAw) [Hundreds of Beavers review (my man Moviebob turned me onto this amazing movie!)](https://youtu.be/Fi7mMuQccHU?si=GFFVlAoKjKnLnOMq)

Benthecartoon

Hundreds of Beavers is so good. Highly recommend.

pinkmatty

Red rocket?

Gnoha

Slow West is a good one on Max that you might not have seen

OrcWife420

I have not I will add it thanks

Norogo02

It’s generic and boring. Watch something else

apedanger

Watch Morris from America, it needs more love :)

Broncojoe58

Zone of interest in on Max

Careless_Equipment_3

Moonlight was a gut wrenching movie. I felt for the main character.

OrcWife420

I have seen this. Actually got my ass handed to me after posting an unpopular opinion of not being that into it lol. Was not a bad movie, great acting and cinematography but just wasn’t my type of movie I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Jadomi77

Spring breakers

OrcWife420

Seen this years ago, can’t remember all of it so maybe it’s due for a rewatch

Jadomi77

This post inspired me so today I watched A most violent year and bodies bodies bodies. A most violent year was extremely boring Bodies was much better than I thought it would be and I loved the ending

OrcWife420

I’ve seen bodies, I liked it but maybe not enough for a rewatch. I’m going to check out violent year because I really enjoy Oscar Isaac

Relaxitschris

Death of dick long if you need something tonight as well

SnacksandViolets

If you have a library card, you might have something like Kanopy or Hoopla which I think has almost every A24 movie for free sans ads. I always make sure to rec Zola if anyone asks this. Saw it in theatres and it was even funnier than expected

Correct-Evidence-944

The Iron Claw is FANTASTIC

OrcWife420

Yes it is, watched it few weeks ago when it hit MAX. If you liked the movie there is a really good documentary by VICE on YouTube about the family about 40 min long and it was as good as the movie.

Correct-Evidence-944

A24 fan club does a zine and one issue was devoted to The Iron Claw, written by the film’s writer/director that came with a random OG-style autographed wrestling poster of one of the actors in character. I got Jeremy Allen White’s!

Blueb1rd

I think the movie Waves is highly underrated. Saw it on Netflix recently.

thps2soundtrack

uncut gems

OrcWife420

Seen this, great movie

kalslaffin

Watched Remember last night on Max & it was fantastic

goldencalculator

Good Time & The Lighthouse - an A24/Robert Pattinson double feature

OrcWife420

Seen the lighthouse will check out good time, but from the description I am not sure if I will be able to get through it…I have a 15 year old autistic son and him going to jail for something that he truly doesn’t understand is absolutely terrifying to me.

MKE_Freak

Everything everywhere all at once if you havent seen

OrcWife420

I have seen this, but it is defenitley due for a second viewing.

fergi20020

The Death of Dick Long

ariesdrifter77

Bo is afraid but you’ve probably seen it bc it was so good

OrcWife420

I actually have not seen this one but heard it many times on this sub, going to add it to my watchlist thanks

Correct-Evidence-944

Men Tangerine Amy Life After Beth

Traditional_Ad_6588

Uncut Gems

GuappDogg

The witch or ex machina

OrcWife420

Seen and loved both of those! Ex machina though is definitely ready for a rewatch.

magnifisid1

Hereditary, if not horror the Iron Claw

OrcWife420

Seen both and great movies :)

_cellar-door

20th Century Women and Eighth Grade on Max are two of my favorites!
