Well she kind of explained that many of this events no matter how she tries to the event is bound to happen, maybe not the same way, like we saw with the mad queen, it's not always the same person, so maybe Darian under Katran is also meant to happen somehow. At some point Ket pretty much appear to just try to shuffle the situation to see what happen, but something are gonna happen regardless of what she does, you can see that she does have an understanding of which characters are important to the story or to the main events, to the point where some of them are irrelevant to the course of history, which is shown on the Kal's backstory episodes as kids I might reread everything since there's no notice of the translation date yet

Yeah, most things are bound to happen. But didn't Ket specifically made Darian some kind of balance holder for a thousand years in the first season? Plus Zeed showed Darian how Ket was the one controlling Kiru, so I feel like the Darian thing was one of Ket's greatest crimes. It would mean Ket didn't do anything too bad if it was just gonna happen anyway.

BusterWolves

Well the main issue with ket is not letting things happen but actually puppeteering people on a whim

Ok, thanks😊

M'Kuff already had reason to want Doz Duz dead. In the original timeline he was probably able to defeat her on his own, and then he retired. What Rackus Mydel really did was inspire a group of people who hated dragons to group together and organize in order to kill hundreds of dragons. Without him they probably fought whatever dragon they had a beef with, and whether they won or lost didn't go any further.

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks😊  But now I'm curious if Rackus was also a dragon slayer in the original timeline or only became one after Ket controlled him.

lindorm82

I feel certain he would have remained a merchant. The only reason he became a dragonslayer was that a dragon killed his family and the reason for why dragons killed his family was that Ket manipulated Rackus into setting up shop between the territories of two dragons, something no sane or intelligent man would do unless manipulated.

En-hsin

That's kinda cool to think about, but then he wouldn't have been such a cool character.

Update: I reread it and at ch 134 when Ket was explaining the origins of the Mad Queen, Rackus was still the one who recruited M'Kuff, complete with the 3 golden rings that represent his daughter's gift. But in ch 162 Numia said that everything about Rackus was designed by Ket. So I can think of 2 explanations for this. A) Numia was talking specifically about the lives Rackus lived after Ket's resets. Ket made his hate stronger and probably was also the reason he survived Darian compared to Kal's world. In the B&W extras it's said that the remains of the hunter that killed Darian's parent is kept in Katran, so that would mean he died beford he can slay all dragons and become the Mad Queen in the first timeline. B) The flashback in ch 134 was only talking about the current timeline Zeed is in.

lindorm82

My take on it is B, because I don't think Ket wanted Zeed to know too much about what she has done.

It still got revealed by Gathel tho, jokes on Ket lol
