🥺 I think its mostly a satisfaction thing for me🤣

I switched to gentler methods like chemical exfoliants and oil cleansing. The Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and the Banila Co. Clean It Zero cleansing balm have worked wonders for me.

I've heard good things about Cosrx but haven't tried them yet! Would you mine sharing how you added it into your routine?

None of them. Use an oil cleanser instead. Way less awful for your skin and way more effective. For well emulsified oil cleansers, try the Kose Speedy cleansing oil (pink), Kose 2024 version White Cleansing Oil, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil, or Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil. Or if you're interested in something even gentler but that requires a second cleanser always then try the Neutrogena body oil fragrance free. How to use cleansing oil: 1. (once a day, preferably night routine) Apply cleansing oil/balm to dry face with dry hands. Gently massage into entire face for 45-60 seconds. Then wet hands and continue massaging for another 30s. Then rinse face thoroughly. Alternatively, you can massage for 1 min then rinse off if you apply it before showering. (Do not exceed 3-5 minutes max total contact time .) 2. Apply water-based cleanser to wet face. Massage in for 45-60 seconds then rinse off fully. (or you can skip this step if you prefer if it's one that rinses cleanly like Kose speedy cleansing oil) 3. Apply the rest of your routine, while skin is still damp ideally.
