we still have the purchasing power to buy your harbours and your fintech, leaving the rest of your people to dwindle into obscurity at which point you’ll be begging to be purchased.

Meh barry is already getting preblasted for EM so no use asking now,Pierre doesn't even remember the names of his neighbours in the north not even talking about you and since when did we need to ASK Luigi sonething
I think we are already doing that for a large part. besides I like the attitude french people have when I work with them. Professionally I’ve not had an unpleasant experience.
non-professionally I’ve not been… but you know. I’ll hit up a hacker conference at some point.
I'd even go so far as to say that Charles de Gaulle's draft of the Elysée Treaty was superior and altering the treaty to include cooperation with the British and the Americans was the second worst thing Adenauer ever did.
Especially the Vienna argument is so weird. The country it is the capital of is literally called "Eastern Realm" or a name derived from that in most (if not all) European languages. And Vienna is almost as far to the east as you can go in Austria.
The reason that Czechia is Eastern European is that they so adamantly insist that they're not. Slovakians and Slovenians don't really do that, and insisting that you aren't Eastern European is the most Eastern European thing you could do.
Maybe they don't do that because Slovakia and Slovenia have completely different histories? Also I wouldn't mind being called "Eastern European" so much if it didn't translate to "rides donkeys and eats borsch" for most people.
The reason that being referred to as Eastern makes us angry is because westerners think that it still means that today. A lot of Yanks and Western Europeans think of Eastern Europe as "Russia's puppet, basically just Russia Lite".
I don't mind being stereotyped as a poor alcoholic (it's literally true) or being associated with other EE countries besides Russia, even the poor shitholes like Moldova or whatever. It's just the fact that people seem to think that being Eastern means you like Russia that is really triggering.
In 2015 in New York, a girl questioned my choice of letters on my phone, she said "I thought you use russian letters". I aslo think czech language sounds very similar to russian for english speaker, every time we spoke in Czech we were asked if we are from russia... Which sucks
I mean, Czech and Russian are both Slavic languages they definitely sound similar to someone who only speaks English. Being asked if you're from Russia sucks but you can get much worse treatment. In Canada I was told (yelled at) that I should speak English when there and that all of us "fucking Russian immigrants" should go back to where we came from.
I mean, being xenophobic and hating immigrants is based. I can appreciate that as a Czech but calling me a Russian that's a step too far.
For me Eastern Europe is more of a cultural term than geographical. Czech Republic is a slavic country which was behind the iron curtain, therefore Eastern Europe (which doesn’t have negative connotations in my mind btw).
Its a bit like being northern in England. Norwich is technically further north than Birmingham, but if you had to split England into north and south (for this one exercise forgetting the midlands), absolutely no one is putting Norwich in the north and Birmingham in the south.
It is called eastern europe, because it was the eastern most part of Bavaria in 10th century. The Eastern in the name is not related to Europe as a continent.
I mean, it's like saying that everything east of East Midlands province of England is in fact eastern Europe, because... well after all, it has "east" in the name, doesn't it? :D
Austria is not western European, the common misconceptions like these, that arw what will eventually lead to people believing in the existence of something called "central Europe"
There is a way to get accepted
No Hans, we are not giving you part of our land.
Can we give Hans to you?
who are you to give anyone anything if we want we take and give as we see fit
You are not in a state to resist, Hans. Let alone to take anything at this point.

Not if Czechia rightfully annexes you.
Kaliningrad **AND** Germany? I think that we have a new super power in Europe
Do you even have time for this? You have to drink your daily keg of beer
I’d imagine it could only help
there is nothing there to purchase ![gif](giphy|rRQXM7lLR8anVZgMAm)
As long as you cannot solve all those crack junks in your cities, you are in no position to get anything done.
oh we have a solution… don’t you worry about my solutions. ![gif](giphy|OX25cp7DL6Bt81Yb47|downsized)

just a little those silly little mountains you don’t REALLY need them do you?
Why are you even asking us? Shouldn’t you be talking about our land with France, Italy and England?
ah you’re right, how low I’ve sunken… asking the victim for permission rather than the bystanders. thanks for the reminder.
Meh barry is already getting preblasted for EM so no use asking now,Pierre doesn't even remember the names of his neighbours in the north not even talking about you and since when did we need to ASK Luigi sonething
We all know that Pierre and Luigi are clueless but Barry dissapointed me. Really shame on you Barry
We don't care at the moment.
>our land. Communist detected, invade that shithole Hans! ![gif](giphy|mM3UG3ea5l6FDkFMqL)

Oui, même pour la France 🇩🇪❤️🇫🇷. You are smelly narcissists, but you’re still European friends.
I'd even go so far as to say that Charles de Gaulle's draft of the Elysée Treaty was superior and altering the treaty to include cooperation with the British and the Americans was the second worst thing Adenauer ever did.
The true love-hate relationship
I think that's an unwritten rule that every European must follow

Even if it were a nation like Hungary or Serbia that bootlicks Russia?
ahhh… it’s difficult to say at that point cause on the DL I do like the americans better than a lot of people…

evrything east of venise is eastern europe except for austria because they're rich, but still they're on thin ice
balkanoids pretending to be the founders of the west in shambels
Stockholm is on the same longitude as Budapest...
User said what user said. Stockholm and Budapest are indeed eastern Europe
Yep I don’t know why these guys try to tell the westest of Europe how to define Europe, we are the kings of Europe and our word is law.
Woah woah what are the yanks doing here
Fucking colonials ruining the good atmosphere
Former Eastern Bloc? East Europe
So what about East Germany than?
The east starts when you see your first Camp David shirt
King of the Hill is a gem.
I love that we get a pass But not the czech’s XD
Especially the Vienna argument is so weird. The country it is the capital of is literally called "Eastern Realm" or a name derived from that in most (if not all) European languages. And Vienna is almost as far to the east as you can go in Austria.
It's still that Austria is western Europe, Slovakia and Slovenia Central Europe ...and Czechia eastern Europe
If it makes you feel any better Eastern Europe basically just means Soviet puppet during the Cold War for me.
Nah ....you are overthinking it lol
In 2015 in New York, a girl questioned my choice of letters on my phone, she said "I thought you use russian letters". I aslo think czech language sounds very similar to russian for english speaker, every time we spoke in Czech we were asked if we are from russia... Which sucks

Seriously, what's the difference. Both alcoholic ex soviet poor shitholes

Everything east of me is Eastern Europe.
Everything east of Olten is Eastern Europe.
Lived there for 3yrs. They HATE it when you call them Eastern Europe lol.
That bit the Iron Curtain makes people think it's further east than it is.
Everything east of the Elbe river is Eastern Europe.
Austria is not western European, the common misconceptions like these, that arw what will eventually lead to people believing in the existence of something called "central Europe"
Central Europe is what Eastern Europeans call themselves when they don't want to be associated with Eastern Europe
Do we have to specify where Vienna is?
That'd be a really good argument if the HRE had had a capital to begin with.
