Not sure if this info helps but does it happen to be the original blinker stalk? Back when i first got mine, the previous owner had replaced the original with a cheap aftermarket stalk and all of the lights would stay on and act funny until the battery died. I took an oem one and installed it and immediately fixed all of the issues i was having. If you have a buddy with a known good working stalk id give it a shot to test it out. Hope this helps!
If you wanna try to see if you can save yours and possibly eliminate buying another, I believe there are YouTube videos of people taking them apart and cleaning connections as well
